milwaukee mike
Nigeria has a lot of oil, but Boko Haram has stalled the production. yeah, i guess i meant oil we can easily steal or control lol on a side note, there are so many better ways to move people and goods than burning a bunch of gas, but there's not as much money in that

mikeman
It shows the hypocrisy of the media, a few people are killed in france and it's a huge story, apparently thousands slaughtered just this week in nigeria by the same muslim fanatics, and only people who follow the news are even aware of it. The key point is that muslims are literally slaughtering innocent people all over the world, trying to advance their twisted vision, while the liberal media and politicians try to pretend it's a "few" fanatics. mikeman
Sad to admit, but I honestly have not. I'm so out of tune with what's going on in the world right now. Boko Harem commits mass murder almost every day there, typically a bombing at a market that kills dozens, this happens almost every day, this week they attacked a town of tens of thousands in northern nigeria, they burnt the town to the ground and supposedly killed several thousand people , mostly woman, children and elderly that couldn't flee. WVU
I just don't see the uproar over any of this violence and senseless killings. Why no coalition forces driving these guys out? Disgusting on many levels.

mikeman
I just don't see the uproar over any of this violence and senseless killings. Why no coalition forces driving these guys out? Disgusting on many levels. The fact it's africa is the main reason, and what coalition is another, right now we have some guys in central africa going after lords rebels, and we're doing drone strikes in somalia along with helping the french somewhat in mali(next door to nigeria). Muslims in africa are actively killing people in somalia, kenya, libya, algeria, chad, sudan, mali, nigeria, cameroon, niger, and most of the small west african countries, where would we start? The problem isn't rebel movements here or there, it's the worldwide islamic movement that started in saudi arabia with wahabbism(fed by oil money), that preaches that islam will conquer the world and islamic 6th century law must prevail. The liberal western media and govt cant grasp the true nature of "the problem", deluding themselves into thinking it's fed by poverty , ignorance, or injustice. mikeman
Remember when all those school girls were kidnapped, crazies like hillary clinton, michelle obama and other's held rallies to "bring home our girls"? That lasted about 2 weeks, most of those girls have never been heard from again, hell, there have been at least a couple more kidnappings since then, where are those celebrities now? Nigeria is a huge country, population well over a 100 million, rich as african countries go, they could stop them if they wanted to, I dont think they want to , mostly because of internal factors. But the next time there's some massacre here or in europe(it wont be a long wait), no need to wring your hands and wonder where these people are coming from, or why they're doing it. mikeman
where would we start? I think we start with Boko Haram. Find them, isolate them, and take them out. Keep in mind libya is now a rising islamic state mess, who brought down khadafy, we did, look at them now. Obama also was a big supporter of the muslim brotherhood in egypt(also islamist's) and when the generals forced them out and cracked down on them , obama was furious, imposing sanctions on them, obama encouraged the mess in syria and then abandoned them to the crazies, he pulled everyone out of iraq and even tried to stop the kurds from exporting oil to raise money to stop the rise of isis - until it was too late, he hates it when the russians do what they need to do in chechnya and elsewhere in the region. If going after boko harem was the right choice, do you think he would do it?

If going after boko harem was the right choice, do you think he would do it? You raise some very good points, but the civilized world cannot let this kind of thing take place. It shouldn't be an Obama decision at least not solely. I propose the world powers come up with a worldwide security force. Equip them with 1000 drones that could be launched on a minute's notice. If the next regime becomes rogue, then treat them the same and take them out too.
