...what's the spot you always make sure (or try) to visit? Whether it's a casino/hotel/show/restaurant/whatever.

Fremont Street Experience is always interesting. It almost makes me feel like I'm in Venice Beach with all the crazy street freaks... except I can just walk into a casino and gamble, and then come out just in time for the light show.

I remember a long time ago when a place across the street had a bash at The Golden Nugget. My first experience on Fremont St. I remember getting to the end of fremont St and crossing the street to a hole of a convenience store....man that place was sketchy as hell. Seemed like a different world a block from Fremont St.

Steak and eggs at Ellis island and lunch at the noodle bar at ny ny... Automatically every trip

Ellis Island, part of the old town still left. Plus it's nostalgic being where Tupac Shakur got shot. Been at that intersection literally 100 thousand times. About as many hot dogs as I've had at the stage door.

i thought tupac got shot on the corner while they were on flamingo in front of maxim/westin hotel? they were driving on flamingo to sug knight's club and never would've turned onto koval. i realize it's splitting hairs, and i'm sure quite a few people have actually been shot inside ellis island lol

As a member of Ellis Islands "Inner Circle" club, one is allowed to drink free at any bar there and also eat completely free...............Ellis is a great little joint, and one of the most successful casinos in all of Las Vegas, the staff there is incredibly friendly. I probably stop in there no less than 4 times weekly and have been a charter member of their slot club dating back to 1997.

That reservation tends to get breezy but, cool things down a bit while swinging in that hot Vegas sun. The clubhouse restaurant/bar has decent food and good service plus the three courses to choose from. Badlands and TPC Summerlin are other courses I like to play too
