Machiavelli
Building young and through the draft. It sounds nice to keep Len (if he'll improve) or get Capela and then draft Doncic but.........just better to grab Ayton and let him be what he's destined to be. Would be nice to swing a deal to get Markkanen off Chicago, too, but they won't be letting him go for what I'd wish (like Chriss/Bender). Either way, a lot of young, high upside talent in Phoenix and maybe it shakes out, maybe it doesnt. It's the way they have to build, though, since we aren't getting a top notch FA to come out this way.

Sol Aristatel
Phoenix might be one of the worst sports towns, if not the worst, in America. We aren't Chicago, New York, or Philadelphia but your take is a bit of an exaggeration. It's a pretty simple market here. If you win, the fans go crazy and the team will draw. If you don't, nobody cares. That's the reality of it. In the Barkley years, every game was sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale in the pre-season. REGULAR season home games were pay per view. And everybody bought the package. Since the Cardinals moved into their new stadium 12 years ago, they have been somewhat successful compared to their past history. And they have sold out every single game in that stadium for 12 years and running. There are plenty of markets out there that can't come close to boasting that type of support for a team. Biggest thing is all the transplants. Not too much of an excuse anymore since there's been plenty of time for kids to grow up with these teams but still.. Sol Aristatel
The young Suns are 3-0 in Summer League and kicking the shit out of everyone. Ayton leading the team in scoring (16 ppg), rebounds (11 rpg), and blocks. This is the beginning of something SPECIAL.

Machiavelli
Ayton looking great but still have to caution that it's Summer League. Just need him to get his confidence up heading into camp and all that. Does give hope to us having a dominant, game-changing big, tho. With my luck, he tears his acl next time out and begins an Oden-path!
Machiavelli
Ayton might be the best player to come out in the last 25 years. There's this guy named Lebron that came out within the past 25 years. Also Anthony Davis. I wouldn't mind 3rd place, tho!!
