They would entice them with a free buffet, and some stupid freeplay. Those old people would get out and push their way into the fuckin' casinos. Spent a couple summers there. In my early 20's, I got sucked into one of those to Laughlin. "Free bus ride to Laughlin. Free $2 roll of quarters and 2 free buffets." I was the only guy under 60 on the bus. I believe Cliff Castle and even some of the casinos around this area bus the old folks in. They have designated areas where they get picked up.
