Sol Aristatel
The supernatural stuff is real... though it chooses wisely who is a witness of it's presence. Ghosts are mostly demons, so besides interesting, I would freak the fukk out. I find it odd that some people believe in ghosts, but don't believe in a God. If one is real, you would have to think that the other is certainly possible. If ghosts are real, then doesn't that prove some sort of "afterlife"? Which could in turn open up endless possibilities that science can't explain.

MonkeyF0cker
Haha, I know a guy who just quit his job to prove that the earth is flat. Left his work truck in the Chicago suburbs and told my friend to come get it from Michigan. LOL. Wow.

Now I believe but dont adhere to any human religion.
Sol Aristatel
are you referring to me? Nope. Just a general observation.

Atheism is rational. Religion is emotional.
IAG
How funny is this ....one of the bachelors on the Bachelorette is talking about the earth being flat right now. Haha.

Sol Aristatel
I don't think there are many atheists who believe in either fairy tale. I've come across a few. Not as rare as you might think. Probably a few amongst us at TGF.

Most have had religion and spirituality indoctrinated in them.

Sol Aristatel
Many people that consider themselves atheists are really agnostic. They just don't understand the difference.

Machiavelli
There just has to be some sort of creator since if there was a Big Bang to start anything, there had to be energy to create that. Sure, you can say gas or whatever, but....what/who created that? I don't necessarily believe in a SkyDaddy but am spiritual more than religious. Machiavelli
http://www.21st-century-christianity.com/images/Is-There-A-God-3.jpg Hahahahaa. I believe it was Dr. Jordan Peterson talking about Richard Dawkins in saying/arguing that it takes more of a ego to believe in nothing than it does to believe in the possibility. I think there has to be some sort of creator/intelligent design that put things in order/motion. Just may not be as many of us were raised to believe. These God denying scientists make up for a very NICE and NECESSARY discussion... but nobody can prove shit. We must follow our feelings here, I sense there is a God. Not a huge fan of their burgers but eat them a couple of times a year. They’ve upped their prices last few years as well. Fifty spot to feed the fam...few bucks more and can do Portillos.
