KingKolzig
That's a pretty dumb bet. The Brewers might pitch some games with the bullpen where their "starter" is only scheduled to go 2 innings. yes its total innings (by starters) divided by runs i dont care if woodruf goes 2 innings. i bet he still gives up a run or

Thanks. It's calculated per 9 innings anyway. It's a stupid bet. Less innings = less opportunity to score.

Machiavelli
I think it'd be good for baseball if the Brewers pulled a KC and took the whole thing. While these very large markets have so many advantages, there's still great paths that mid and small markets can take and it is always good to see them do well. milwaukee mike
It also equals less times through the order in each game. exactly... and as a hitter I wouldn't mind seeing the same pitcher for 10 at bats in a week or so Kershaw's era in September was 3.89 in 6 starts, not unhittable by any means

Machiavelli
Brewers opening up with 2 lefties. Relegates Muncy/Joc to pinch hitting duties. Gotta think if Mil is gonna win this series, they're gonna need both games at home here.
MonkeyF0cker
Decent value at DSI on a Milwaukee sweep at +2000.

Gotta think if Mil is gonna win this series, they're gonna need both games at home here. that's foolish thinking they could LOSE both games 1/2 and still have a decent shot... it's baseball, teams go on 4 game winning streaks/losing streaks all the time
Machiavelli
Fair enough, but say they do lose those first two games, in using your same logic, the Dodgers then get Muncy/Joc back for full games v the righties and have a good chance to win the following two and sweep 'em. What I am saying is I think Milwaukee is in a spot where getting these first 2 are especially crucial given that Muncy/Joc are likely pinch hitting in them. I understand you're a tad defensive and biased towards your boys.....and while I'd like to see them take this whole thing, it may not be so easy here. BrewCrew in 6! that would be "sweet" since we're in a suite for that one (hopefully it gets that far) tonight i have to sit with the unwashed masses... "bad times at the el royale" and then off to see bad times for kershaw, should be a good day

Machiavelli
Mike, when it comes to the Bucks, Brewers and the Packers, would it be fair to say you're more die-hard on the BrewCrew and them winning would mean more?
milwaukee mike
will you be in attendance tonight mike? yes and machiavelli, i think that's fair... packers are so far away, we're closer geographically to chicago... i have always had more fun at bucks games though
