Like it or not, folks are going to want to discuss the latest political happenings, so keeping it in one giant thread is fair. Agreed, it's something some people like to talk about so I don't think it should be hidden away in some never visited sub-forum. It should have its place on the main board but one large running thread at least keeps it from getting somewhat out of hand. It seems like it would be a fair compromise.
