His parents were India born- descendants of Zoroastrians who escaped to India about 1000 years back.

Interesting. Although Persia is usually referring to a general region, its mostly known as present day Iran.

 

If his parents were born in India why would wouldn’t they be considered Indian? Regardless of where their ancestors 1,000 years ago were from.

 

Everything I read refers to the parents as Persian.

Well, it lost....most in part to Not being nominated......Can we get some closure on this 86? it's like betting the Lakers to win the Super Bowl....
