iateyourmotherssoup
Last year, won in a walk as I had the Braves over. Worst year I ever won was the year I won the under by a half-game for the Marlins, when they canceled the last game because Jose Fernandez died. Anyway, this years picks: San Francisco Giants- Under 74 winsSeattle Mariners- Under 73.5 wins Giants have an ancient lineup and probably the most horrific outfield this side of Miami. Posey is starting to decline and at 33 has a lot of wear-and-tear. The rotation is pretty bereft of talent outside of Bumgarner, and he can hopefully start a Lincecum-esque flameout to aid in my quest. In their division, the Dodgers and Rockies should be +.500, the Padres are going to be massively improved (can't wait to watch Paddack pitch), and the D'Backs should be their competition for the cellar. Mariners lost an epic shitload of talent in Zunino, Segura, Paxton, Cano, Colome, and Diaz. They brought in a talented Japanese pitcher (who could be hit or miss) and little else. King Felix looks to past it and the rest of the arms are pretty unrecognizable. The Astros will be the Astros, the A's somehow always find a way to win, the Angels look to be right around .500, and the Rangers have a putrid staff. On season wins, I look for teams with players reaching their peak playing years. The M's are pretty old and past their peak both in the batter's box and on the rubber. FairWarning
If the Giants were smart, they would just blow it up if things go south early. Another thing to look for on unders is teams who will sell off. I would like to play the White Sox under but their core is pretty young and the division sucks. iateyourmotherssoup
Wsox I believe have the youngest team in majors. I know on hitting side they do. Have some good young arms too. A shame kopech got hurt.

iateyourmotherssoup
Giants opening day outfield was Steve Duggar, connor joe, and Michael Reed. That is worse than last year's Marlins, possibly worst all time. Mac Williamson looks like babe Ruth compared to these guys. Probably betting them tomorrow though.
