Brayden11
Biloxi a very underrated destination...went on a golf trip a few years ago and lots of options.
FISHHEAD
Dry heat right? Midwest guy here who went in late July for my anniversary and its brutal, outside of being poolside during the day I can't imagine dealing with 100+ degrees everyday but I also live in a climate where it's been below frezing since I don't when. Piece of cake......
KingRevolver
that's what I was worried about I take the offer, low ball em and don't gamble..............they cut me off. I decline, they send me another one when I can afford to gamble it up. They keep sending them. Yep. The same way Casino Arizona cut me off. I was getting free rooms and big freeplays. The last two times I went, I took it very easy... and the next mailer I got was a room offer for $79 and $25 free play. LOL I'm waiting on the Silverton to send me something. I lost plenty there. FISHHEAD
................Volume played more times than not more important than Win/loss in terms of comps and cash mailers.
FISHHEAD
What are you talking about? You go to that piece of crap Harrah's' date=' LOL[/quote'] Harrahs properties are very good venues for the advantage gambler......on many fronts. BarryRunSome
It was 110 every day for a week, a few years ago when I went during one of the Celtics-Lakers finals. I have to agree, it is a dry heat. Didn't feel a tick over
FISHHEAD
For 10-14 days when the temps are over 112' it can be a little unbearable......under 108 is a piece of cake. 1. Average to low humidity 2. Sun not as intense as compared to that of Florida and other more southern locations. The winter months in Vegas are much more of a pain than the summer, chilly as shit often, especially with the common high winds here in the valley.....still, no serious complaints. ......Over the course of 365 days, Vegas has no more than 30 days where weather is a factor of any significance, piece of cake compared to the majority of the country. KingRevolver
Phoenix and Vegas have very similar weather. But in my opinion, Winter is great and Summer is horrible.

Well you did stay at the piece of shit Silverton!! Don't expect much from that casino compared to what level you would be at harrahs or MGM properties by now. Next time you hit Vegas stay on the strip like everyone else. Having said that, if you ever visit downtown and get a card and play at least $100 in slots, then you will get offers for the next 2 years with free rooms, free buffets and free cash
FISHHEAD
Well you did stay at the piece of shit Silverton!! Don't expect much from that casino. Silverton far from a shithole Secondly, Silverton is very generous with comps and other various offers, BBB was generously taken care of on his recent stay there, or would be in the future also. On the local front, SILVERTON ranks very high on the list for mailers/comps........and for the advantage gambler, it's definelty one of the better places in the entire city, it is frequented by a very good percentage of the best advantage slot/VP players in the city. po69
Yes but you have to hang out with all of the retired people of Vegas at the Silverton! If someone is visiting Vegas 4 or 5 times a year, I don't think that the Silverton is where they want to be. They want to be on the strip near all of the shows and action

FISHHEAD
.....many excellent reasons to visit silverton other than mailers. Silverton, although not a favorite of mine If compared to so many other venues, but it certainly is not a shithole or pile of shit. Many things to like at the Silverton.
