Machiavelli
Think about it... KD is out at least one game, Cousins who knows. But......who on GS handles Kawhi? Iggy? He's bummin' some. Lowry doesn't quite equal Curry, but close. Siakam/Ibaka neutralize Draymond. Tor bench a better crew. Then you have Gasol/Kawhi v what....Klay and scraps? I don't know.... Add in Home Court advantage and a need for Kawhi to win to stay, and Toronto winning is good for the NBA. Slows that dominant GS boring run; gets new fans excited. So if there is ever any chance a league will help skew things one way, maybe the zebras help Toronto. Anyone at all like Toronto????? I haven't locked them in yet since I've been boasting about GS, but starting to lean that way.

Machiavelli
Ha. And I knew that'd make you happy, while I have a propensity to talk myself into some square ass plays, there's a lot to like about this Toronto team.
Machiavelli
Also...the "Story of the Series" is about one thing and one thing only: Kawhi Leonard staking his claim as the best basketball player on the planet. This is like Jordan but with Pippen defense. IN ONE PLAYER.
Hoops
I’m with you on this Mach I want the Warriors to remember how bad they need KD since they are acting all cocky and shit acting like they can get it done without him. Kawhi took Giannis out of the last series and he will do the same to Steph... Klay, Draymond and a broken down Boogie won’t beat the Raptors

RDTrains
I hope Boogie plays. Looney is a huge upgrade defensively,

mikeman
KD? KD? The reason the warriors are playing better, and dominating is because he's not there.
Machiavelli
KD? KD? The reason the warriors are playing better, and dominating is because he's not there. Fair. But against Kawhi?? Not seeing it. Which may be great for Donuts, ajt and crew. But still.. These Raps are hear to take this thing. FUCK GOLDEN STATE!

ted sheckler
will be on raptors as well gm 1Not sure how it'll play out but Leonard giving a big FU to the Spurs by winning a ring with Toronto has to be a great motivator for a guy that seemingly wasn't thrilled to even be playing this year up there. Now has a decent chance with Durant being out a game or 2 and taking both of these at home. Durant clearly different animal than Giannis, but Siakim/Leonard chasing him all over and having to respect his shooting will be a bit of concern with tiring them out, maybe not having enough juice on the offensive end. Need both of these at home. Raps GM1 if lose double down for GM2. If they lose both, I'll have to pick up an extra shift at work.
kovacsbar
Really got to fade a team with an inconsistent starting lineup. Warriors gonna work Cousins in after a layoff which moves Looney to PF. I think we see a bit more of Ibaka this round, he and Gasol will take advantage of Cousins defense. Igoudala can't stick Leonard but Danny Green can limit Curry some. Raptors are a legit 8-deep and the Warriors are not. Raps in 6.

loman
I'm on them in Game 1 as well. Passing on the series although I think their defense will keep them in most games.
KingKolzig
Under 213 550/500 only sure winner in the thread. thompson/curry have to work hard to get a good shot without KD. Lowry playing with a bum thumb already crying about it on espn last night "i cant feel anything" lol.........if kerr is actually stupid enough to throw in cousins that will just hurt their rhythm more. i think the winner of this game scores
