JAKEPEAVY21
I think it depends on whether Melvin Gordon decides to play or not. If he plays, the Chargers will win. The Chiefs win the division if Gordon continues his holdout well into the season. I still can't believe that repeat offender woman/child beater, Tyreek hill, did not get any suspension. The NFL is never consistent with that stuff. Goodell is a fuckin' joke.
Mike75
This is very tough It comes down to a very close tight race between the Chargers/Chiefs I think both are Super Bowl worthy reps of the AFC
JAKEPEAVY21
I hate to admit it but the Chiefs are the team to beat. I don't see Gordon suiting up for the Chargers again. He is getting very bad advice as the Chargers offered him 10 million/per which I feel like is more than a fair offer for a B level running back that is injured often. He is "insulted" by the offer so i hope he gets traded before the season starts so this does not become more of a distraction than it already is. One other thing that I see is that Gordon does not avoid contact, he looks for it. With the short shelf life of running backs, I would not give him more than a 3 year contract given his bruising running style.
theguesser
If Gordon is there, and I think he will be, Chargers win a very close race. Tremendously well balanced team. KC's Defense is totally different than last year, from coaching, scheme, and players, and it had to be. But is it better? That question will decide the Chiefs season. Mike75
With the Chargers hampered by injuries to some of their key guys like James,Henry,Williams,Bosa in addition to Gordon at RB with his contract i think this will affect the Chargers. I think they finish second in division after Chiefs Chiefs soundly beat the best defense in NFL last week. I think they will win the division. Broncos will be middle of the pack. The Raiders could surprise so pay attention they could end up being a wild card caliber team with 9 wins.
JAKEPEAVY21
The KC Convicts seem to catch every break possible. Chargers keep losing high caliber players to injury while KC has woman beaters and child abusers suiting up.
