August West
It was 3.375 a few weeks ago. I just bought a house at 3.625 last month.
Sol Aristatel
I’m at 3.25 fixed. I have enough equity now to get rid of my mortgage insurance. Have to refinance now to do it though. If it drops to 3.5 for a refi I might pull the trigger.

Sol Aristatel
The dreaded PMI, not even a tax break anymore, just wasted $$$. Good idea.Definitely want to do it. Problem is I have a HELOC I don’t want to close. So with it open I basically have to pay a higher rate. Think about a half point higher. Mortgage lender ran the numbers for me a couple months ago and wasn’t quite worth it yet.

Colonel Lingus
Let’s forget about Europe and talk about what’s gonna happen here. The central banks banks are linked together and all controlled by the same family. I would say 2% mortgage rates are a lock in the USA within 5 years and would not be be surprised to see 1%
