mikeman
I use a cooking bag, speeds up the cooking and the bird stays nice and moist.
FairWarning
If you are roasting it, roast it upside down. This way the juices go to the white meat and doesn’t dry it out. You can always turn it right side up before trimming it.

mikeman
What about brining? You mean basting, i've heard that really doesn't keep it juicier, it just slows up the cooking because you keep opening and closing the oven. use the bag i suggested, a 2 pack costs a couple bucks, it's easy. FairWarning
Did you see that on the Food Wishes video? No, actually my mother was drunk and put the bird in upside down by accident. True story and she has done it that way ever since.

jasson621
Deep fry Ted, brine overnight. Just make sure you test the turkey with water in the pot first to see how much oil to put in, we wouldn't want you to burn the block down. Also please record this and send to KR. kovacsbar
No brining.....putting in saltwater over nightDries out the white. What FW said works good upside down then flip it 1 hour before its done. I do 425° until it starts to brown then lower it to 300° and cover then finish @ 375° last 45 min. milwaukee mike
in the future for everyone i would suggest just buying the turkey breasts super easy, and tastes better than any other way of preparing a whole turkey, the dark turkey meat is nasty no matter how you cook it
