KingRevolver
Kevin Love still getting blasted for the way he answered Dan Patrick's question about who deserved to get MVP, Love said: "They’re both (Russell and LeBrick) having an MVP-type season, but I’m going to go with Russell Westbrook because every single night you’re looking at his stat sheet, they’re fighting for a playoff spot, with Serge Ibaka going down now, Kevin Durant potentially being out the rest of the year and him still going out there and fighting for his team, and winning, and fighting for that seventh or eighth spot in the playoffs. I think Russ is arguably having the better season."

Timely Hitting
All he did was speak the truth. Hard to disagree with his statement. Eh, I kind of agree but... he should back his teammate regardless there. Russ is an ex-teammate, but he should back Lebron while he is playing with him.... and I hate Lebron and think Russ is the easy MVP right now. Boat, I'm pretty sure over 1/2 the GM's would take Anthony Davis over LeBron if starting a franchise today so you can put that MVP logic to rest. KingRevolver
Yeah, in that case... why have an MVP Award... just give it to LeBron or Davis for the next few years. Tripp would love that...
Guest boatboatboat
Ummm No What ever team lebron plays for instantly is a favorite to make the finals for the next 5 years. Just like its been the last
Timely Hitting
Ummm No What ever team lebron plays for instantly is a favorite to make the finals for the next 5 years. Just like its been the last 8 If you think LeBron has more value going forward than AD... If you sent LeBron to the Pelicans and AD to the Cavs, you think the odds really change that much? Maybe for this year, based on name alone, the odds would but certainly not going forward. Anthony Davis is the #1 pick to start a team going forward in the NBA and it's not all that close for me. Timely Hitting
Last I checked, didn't Lebron have a losing record in the Finals? Hopefully they keep making him the favorite so I can keep :money LeBron is 30 years old, with the minutes accumulated of a 34 year old. There's no way he has 5 years remaining in his peak - he'll be lucky to be as dominant and great as he is today for two more years, and then the regression will start to sit in. KingRevolver
You'll never see LeBron come out to play for a West team. He's not that stupid.
tripp
Love is much closer friends with Westbrook so hardly surprising. Love doesn't seem to be in the inner circle in Clev with Lebron, Kyrie, JR Smith and Tristan thompson (which really doesnt matter, dont need to be bff's to win a title together) Whether that impacted his answer or not who knows. Lebron is clearly the most valuable player to have in the league right now, followed by Davis and Durant. But in terms of production this season I think Harden would be my vote for MVP. Definitley not westbrook as he continues to throw up 5-16 type nights.
