The two most recent planes sent to China to pick up shipments of sorely needed medical supplies were forced to return to Canada empty due to "severe restrictions" on the ground in China in terms of how long an airplane can stay in airports before they are forced to leave — full or not.

 

“Unfortunately, the planes had to take off in this situation without receiving their cargo deliveries," Trudeau said during his daily Covid-19 update. 

 

Canada has received millions of PPE in recent days — and more shipments are to arrive over the coming days and weeks.

Here's what happened, and this is a guarantee, Canada said they are coming to pick up PPE equipment(I'm sure they had legitimately bought it), the chinese govt got wind of it and decided to fuck them over(because of several reasons, the canadian arrest of that chinese executive being prime among them).

 

So the plane arrived and they made them wait around, then they said "times up, get out", and the fuckers were forced to fly home.
