I grabbed a book the other day from the library " The Age of Cryptocurrency". "How Bitcoin and Digital Money are challenging the Global Economic Order", by Paul Vigna and Michael Casey. Long story short about my interest in all this, is besides the obvious convenience and safety factor in transferring my money, how long is it going to take our money grubbing government to figure out a way to steal my money and or effectively shut it down or render it useless like for example WU.

A lot of money is being invested " Not only has venture capital investing in Bitcoin failed to slow even as the price of the digital currency has slumped, but now some big Wall Street names have hopped on the bandwagon.

On Tuesday Bitcoin payments and wallet platform Coinbase announced it had raised $75 million in Series C funding. That's more than double the previous amount of venture capital invested in a Bitcoin company. San Francisco-based Coinbase has now raised a total of $106 million.

But this time it wasn't just the usual Bitcoin-friendly VC firms backing Coinbase

"I think the New York Stock Exchange sees this as an important trend," said Ehrsam. "Really, what's happening in the background is, you're seeing some hedge funds dip their toe into the water in bitcoin in increasing amounts. It wouldn't surprise me if you see some banks get involved here at some point, as well."http://www.cnbc.com/id/102367943

WOW well AVOId bitcoins at betonline compared to other shops..

they have a processor service fee that they pass on to customers. they do not match bitcoin market prices as I was told prior to sending funds to the wallet.

ow for a bitcoin option this is a BAD Technique to USE at betonline... AVOID until they fix this and work with loyal customers wanting to deposit.

Usually a deposit over a certain amount Mg or W U is free sportsbooks cover the processing fees...

with bitcoins this is supposed to be simple fast and obviously free.

BUT BETONLINE CHARGES customer approx 4.8% on every BITCOIN deposit.

I was just told by a Timothy Hewitt: There is a large SERVICE FEE from BETONLINE and PROCESSOR they use and they just pass that over to the customer.. Same thing by the way when you look for a WITHDRAW, look for a 4.8% (approx) deduction if you want BITCOINS... so this great method gets in betonlines hands and they butcher it...

no other major book has this in place right now. AVOID..

TRYtryTRY:

Good catch on the fees BetOnline charges to use bitcoin.

The "processor" fees are likely just an excuse to skim a little more for themselves.

I noticed discrepancies with my 2 bitcoin deposits to BetOnline but they were for small amounts so i didn't sweat it.

In the meantime I'm back funded at Pinnacle for most of my action.

Plommer.

Its all good

No worries.

I knew what the deal was.

Bimm sent me 5 pms about it.

Lol

Comical

I don't really know what Bimmers problem is. I was active and then went bust, that shouldn't prohibit me from playing in their contests as non-active.

I'm sure I'll re-up with BetOnline again, just not today.
