Many have filed for unemployment over a month ago and have not received a check. Most Disney workers can barely make ends meet during the best of times, so there’s no way they have a rainy day fund to cover this extended period until the unemployment system catches up. Things might get a little dicey down here, crime-wise. DeSantis political career will go down the tubes if he doesn’t start to show some urgency in getting these people their unemployment. I believe Disney offers a 401K match up to a certain percentage...The Cares Act might be the fastest way to get cash for those employees if you know anyone in that circle.
