sleepy
I'm going to bed, I dont think the nations police strategy makes a lick of sense, allowing looting and property damage to go unchecked is exactly what we did(here in MN), leads to total failure. The only viable solution is shooting them IMO. no buildings burned down tonight these guys weren't fucking around even a few lib reporters got roughed up
Bfo
Violent thugs tear gassed down at Fremont St, that’s how you deal with these idiots. Peaceful demonstrations not only should be tolerated but wholeheartedly encouraged, questioning authority and engendering discussion is a good and often necessary way to strengthen our society as a whole. Anyone inciting or participating in violence should be clubbed over the head at the very least and summarily charged to the fullest extent of the law. EugeneMorgan
kind of depends what the law is, wouldnt you say? if the end justifies the means then we need to make sure the means are correct. and by correct i dont mean majority, financially, or because i say so. i mean ethically. and that depends on personal morals not society.which in turn depends exactly on how you were nurtured. which inevitably creates a paradox since the nurturer is engendering their morals on you.whether it is right or wrong is in reality irrelevant at that point. because you have sacrificed intelligent individualist thinking for, in the words of Aldous Huxley, the call of the mynah. hey mockingbird. rdalert447
i am curious what you are babbling on about.please expound. You probably didn’t see it reported in the news: “ The preliminary autopsy report found "no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation," according to the document, which suggests Floyd’s existing health conditions – coronary artery disease and hypertensive heart disease – combined with being restrained by police and any "potential intoxicants in his system" contributed to his death.”
rdalert447
i am curious what you are babbling on about.please expound. And Ol’ George’s arrest record. Probably won’t see this reported in the main stream media, either: [li]The 46-year-old had left Houston after being released from a 5 year prison sentence for a 2007 robbery [/li] [li]He pled guilty to entering a woman’s home, pointing a gun at her stomach and searching the home for drugs and money, according to court records[/li] [li]Floyd was sentenced to 10 months in jail for having less than one gram of cocaine in a December 2005 arrest [/li] [li]He had previously been sentenced to eight months for the same offense, stemming from an October 2002 arrest [/li] [li]Floyd was arrested in 2002 for criminal trespassing and served 30 days in jail[/li] [li]He had another stint for a theft in August 1998 [/li]

rdalert447
The crazy thing is how the arrest of the Police Officer unfolded. The Hennepin County (?) county D.A. says on one day that he won’t rush to justice, he’ll gather evidence and such, then the next day he rushed the criminal complaint. Under pressure, no doubt. And because of the rushed and sloppy criminal complaint, and the above wording, the case won’t be a slam dunk. It’s just another example of a lack of leadership from an elected leader. Boatboatboat
so the guy kneeling on his neck didn't kill him does that mean he just happened to randomly die at the very moment his neck was being kneeled on for 8 min? lord………..
rdalert447
Another potential problem in the case is that this particular police department allows certain neck restraints: Use of Force policyMinneapolis Police policy allows the use of neck restraints – “Defined as compressing one or both sides of a person's neck with an arm or leg, without applying direct pressure to the trachea or airway.” The policy states the neck restraint “may be used against a subject who is actively resisting.” An unarmed source within the department is quoted as saying that the type Officer Chauvin used does not appear to be the type trained, but that doesn’t sound entirely convincing. Will be another thing that will be debated in court.

mikeman
The nation is a total contrast today. Pretty much every republican area nationwide is peaceful , safe, secure, content, people stretching their arms and preparing for a blissful sunday. Meanwhile democratic areas(even in republican states), are looted, burned, police and army on the streets, citiizens cowering, afraid, terrified. This is the way life is supposed to be, it really is. Boatboatboat
The wife of the Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis police officer charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of George Floyd, has filed for divorce. According to her lawyer, Kellie Chauvin is distraught over Floyd's death. "She is devastated by Mr. Floyd's death and her utmost sympathy lies with his family, with his loved ones and with everyone who is grieving this tragedy," the Sekula Law Offices, PLLC said in a statement on behalf of Kellie Chauvin and her family. According to the statement, Kellie Chauvin has officially filed for divorce. "While Ms. Chauvin has no children from her current marriage, she respectfully requests that her children, her elder parents, and her extended family be given safety and privacy during this difficult time," the statement added. This is why investigations take time even with visual evidence of shocking horror. prosecutors need to assemble all the facts including what we didn’t see and what police may have known if they ran his ID.categoricslly no excuse for what we saw , but from a legal case standpoint it’s germane.
