They end up winning. The bet was graded as a loser. I flipped out and went off to a nine.com rep. I didn’t understand the 3 way line and thought I won. Fun times! Moldoveanu Posted June 11, 2020 Report Share Posted June 11, 2020 my newb mistake was for the first time is i bet like 10$ on like 10-15 teams to win like 50k-100k in 1999 late or early 2000 i was 14-15 years old back then i was just searching on espn for better records and was betting on my brothers account i bet all games spreads to win big like 10-15 teams i had no idea how they played just looked who had better record and home and away record so i just bet them i kept looking at espn for the scores and i kept checking this won this won this won meanwhile i had like -15 but they won by like 7 and i was checking this as won then after the bet disapeared i was like wtf the team won i did not even know what the spread was for then my brother called them and asked why did they lose when they won the game and they told my brother how spread worked and i was so happy i was about to win 50k or more then i was like fk this is so much harder then i thought Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That fall I was ready to come back and called asking if I could get a room. They (probably) laughed and told me I had enough points for a comp at Sbarro’s or some shit. Went to online blackjack and was playing $100 to $500 a hand. Lost $2500 in 15 minutes and felt sick for two days afterwards. 2) Live betting soccer thinking that teams were up 3-0 were sure winners and that -2000 was easy money. Didn't lose, but I had a helluva scare on Liverpool up 3-0 and nearly drawing with West Ham. 3) Soccer again. Took -5000 on Real Madrid to advance over Monaco in the 2004 Champions League after the first leg. My worst bet of the bunch. Bad bet at horrible odds.
