Everyone who works on this train is a fvcking prick, I would skip meals today if it wasn’t for my wife I’m sick of dealing with them... Wife says I’m not tipping enuff, fvck that I already started tipping less... $2 for every trip to the snack bar and I went 6x yesterday$5 tip at lunch$3 at dinner because I’m sick of the attitude $10 to the guy who folds out the chairs to beds$0 for my first cup of coffe$1 each for my last two (2) Is that cheap? Do any hikes?Stayed in Estes Park at Murphy’s lodge.....very nice place and perfect location because it was at the very end of town so we only had to walk in one direction.... Sunday.....flew to Sacramento and stayed the night, went to the casino for about 4hrs and had a blast....we will be doing that again. Monday & Tuesday did the train ride which was a dream come true for the wife, I also liked it and would do again Wed- walked the town of Estes and rented bicycles and rode around for two hours coming across many of Elk.....might have been my most fun. Thur.....town walk again but hiked this time to some historic cabins from way back in the 1900’s then later that evening headed to Black Hawk to the casino and got home at 1am Fri - more hiking and shopping in town followed by a sight seeing trip in a 4x4 with 6 others to some lakes and animal sighting and such....tour guide was awesome.....wife and I swam in the indoor pool and kicked it in the jacuzzi drinking wine Sat....got up early and headed to the casino again at are lunch there before coming back to hang at an outdoor brewery with live band....very cool Sun....breakfast at a local popular place that sucked but that’s ok, shopping for gifts and hit a local bar to watch football then headed to Denver where we did the restaurant/Bar thingy while waiting for flight Things we didn’t do that I wish we had/could River water was too low so couldn’t do rafting Went on a hike to see a bitchen water fall but it was 3.5 miles in high altitude and we made it 1.5 before the wife gave up and we headed back. Hot springs (20 of them) were a 4hr drive which I would have done but the wife shot the idea down Thanks to all that helped with all the ideas....really appreciate it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Was the mexican place Eds cantina? on the end of that crowded/shopping road? That's where we'd always go for happy hour. I think the only time we've ever ate pizza out there was a "fancier" place on that same strip a few buildings down. But it was damn good.
