I haven’t smoked pot in years, but I like to support the local dealer economy (I kid) ) so I voted against legalization. SD is not a place for this. People who smoke are going to smoke...not hard to find I’m sure. I just don’t want to see dispensaries down the street. It has not been a positive for Denver imo. I voted yes on medical use. I've always supported recreational weed 100%, but I do agree with merlin that the smell is overpowering. I got headaches from it when I lived in SF. The smell is just everywhere, I have no idea how you can enforce people only smoking in certain areas. Fining people really wouldn't work. In America there's too many jackasses who wouldn't gia. This is one of the toughest issues for me as I think it should be legal yet I see the negatives in places where it is legal. I like the smell when im on vacation because its more nostalgic and gives me a sense of freedom. Would have never in a million years guessed you’re a weed smoker I guess bc I smoke the smell never bothers me. Plus now a days , at least in my area , a huge % of people vape which smells wayyyyy less strong.
