mikeman Posted May 29, 2021 Report Share Posted May 29, 2021 Ok boys, here's the recap on my vegas trip. Lost about $600, which i consider to be good, I was down a lot more but made a comeback. Drank too much, especially the first full day, toned it down the last day. My drinks of choice were bloody's in the morning, then beer(dos xxx, modelo, coors light), in the evening It was mostly Gin N tonics. At the cortez I "won" a bottle of wine, which I drank about half of - dont like wine, it was red wine but I let it chill, then it was more passable. My room was comped at the cortez as were most of my meals, the flight out was free using miles, the flight back was on Spirit(cost me $31). the only meal I paid for was a mcdouble at mcd's one afternoon. I tipped like a drunken sailor, the full bean for every drink and extra for the servers since I was eating for free. The cortez has a free airport shuttle back to the airport - gave the guy 10 large. I even tipped the maid. No hookers, the only real attention I got was from a couple women with walkers at the cortez playing next to me. I was sweet talking the one and told her she looks too good to need a walker, she said she had some dizzy spells a while back - being an internet Dr I told her to ditch the walker and spend more time dancing, she chuckled. I was playing this game at the 4 queens earlier today - 100 play, it's hypnotizing, you cant lose fast at this game since you always have some returns. My bother, I had to instruct him to give walt his insulin shot, but he only came over once a day, so he didn't get enough. The litter box was filled with piss, not a good sign. it's also possible that my brother missed with the shot and accidentally injected only his fur. I'm kinda like Phil Mickelson when it comes to tipping, except he tips hondo's, I splash ones around. You'd be surprised at how appreciated you are by cocktail servers at a place like the el - cortez, there's a fair number of non tippers or people that tip quarters.
