I'm in a tough spot and my guy has apologized profusely for putting me in it.  While I could be terminated for not following orders to terminate, I would not have the same legal recourse that my guy has.

You are in the same position as Drs all across the country.  They had to go with the narrative or lose their job. When people are in debt , mortgages car payment etc. some have no choice but to do what they have to do because of debt.  In the end it all comes down to money like everything always does  . My Brother in law is a well respected Dr in South Carolina. He has never been vaxxed and treated patients with ivermectin etc.  he was told stop or be fired. He was lucky and got a new job at a hospital 8 miles away and can continue doing what he did.  He said he saved so many from being put on vents by using ivermectin  .  Sad what this country has become.

I thought the flu disappeared for 2 straight years?

Dumb, dumb why did you think that? It's common sense. Which simpletons like Dumb Joey and you don't have.

During the covid era flu cases dropped significantly. Dumb, dumb see below for explanation. But most importantly, to save you from future embarrassment, the flu did not disappear for 2 straight years.

Summary

What was the 2020-2021 flu season like?

Flu activity was unusually low throughout the 2020-2021 flu season both in the United States and globally, despite high levels of testing. During September 28, 2020–May 22, 2021 in the United States, 1,675 (0.2%) of 818,939 respiratory specimens tested by U.S. clinical laboratories were positive for an influenza virus. The low level of flu activity during this past season contributed to dramatically fewer flu illnesses, hospitalizations, and deaths compared with previous flu seasons. For comparison, during the last three seasons before the pandemic, the proportion of respiratory specimens testing positive for influenza peaked between 26.2% and 30.3%. In terms of hospitalizations, the cumulative rate of laboratory-confirmed influenza-associated hospitalizations in the 2020-2021 season was the lowest recorded since this type of data collection began in 2005. For pediatric deaths, CDC received one report of a pediatric flu death in a child during the 2020–2021 flu season. Since flu deaths in children became nationally notifiable in 2004, reported flu deaths in children had previously ranged from a low of 37 (during 2011-2012) to a high of 199 (during 2019-2020).

What are possible explanations for the unusually low flu activity?

COVID-19 mitigation measures such as wearing face masks, staying home, hand washing, school closures, reduced travel, increased ventilation of indoor spaces, and physical distancing, likely contributed to the decline in 2020-2021 flu incidence, hospitalizations and deaths. Influenza vaccination may also contributed to reduced flu illness during the 2020–2021 season. Flu vaccine effectiveness estimates for 2020-2021 are not available, but a record number of influenza vaccine doses (193.8 million doses) were distributed in the U.S. during 2020-2021.

So all these measures made the flu disappear but didn’t make covid disappear.  Got it!  Amazing considering more people died than ever under Biden with vaccines and all these measures.  Covid must be one sneaky little virus.

Oh, look.  A lardass Uber driver who thinks he knows more about health than doctors.

Shove a McRib in that fat trap, dumbfuck.

The fact that he thinks he has any cred in life, much less on covid when he was getting jabbed and demanding everybody do so, and decided “enough of this covid bullshit” only when he said so speaks volumes of hypocritical stupidity.  He took 2 completely useless jabs and wanted everybody fired for not doing so, and 2 years later changed his mind once the media shut up about it.

Wow, Dumb, dumb has a justification for all and any misinformation. Simply amazing how dumb you are. But at least you learned something new today. The flu didn't disappear for 2 straight years. Cases decreased significantly most likely because of Covid-19 mitigation measures. Don't understand why something so basic and simple is confusing the hell out of you. Don't believe everything promoted by the far right wing, the anti vax crowd and the anti science crowd.  You are embarrassing yourself.

So if masks were so effective then this employer should ask that he wear a mask vs a useless flu shot.

Makes sense why blunderscum is always angry.

Why do diabetics get so angry?

Among diabetic, higher blood glucose, or hyperglycemia, has historically been associated with anger or sadness, while blood sugar dips, or hypoglycemia, has been associated with nervousness. Persons with diabetes are not the only ones vulnerable to mood disturbances as a result of blood sugar fluctuations.
