FISHHEAD
BUFFALO -- Jack Eichel knew what was coming. Turns out, it was his own revenge. The Golden Knights forward -- and former Sabres captain -- was in town to face his old squad Thursday night for the second time since Buffalo traded him to Vegas last November. The last time he was at KeyBank Center, on March 10, Eichel had zero points in Vegas' 3-1 loss while facing a barrage of consistent, emphatic boos. In his return Thursday, Eichel went off with a third-period hat trick and four-point performance that lifted the Golden Knights to a 7-4 victory, extending their win streak to nine games and an NHL-best 13-2-0 record. After each score, Eichel -- on a seven-game point streak of his own -- taunted the assembled crowd with the same gusto it had shown him with never-ending boos from the moment his skates hit the ice 35 seconds into the game. Monitor-Tan
Dude hates his old team with a passion, talked a lot of negative things about the Sabres after leaving.
