Brady Manek was the only thing that ever could reach this bunch. He got sick of losing and they went on a tear last year. Before that is the exact same team you have this year. At least Hubert is recruiting good but I’m starting to believe he’s not cut out for to be head coach at UNC. So likeable too. This team is retarted and Roy couldn’t reach them either. They all need to go. Jalen Washington is awesome but Hubert keeps playing Pete Nance who offers nothing on offense. Between him and Leaky that leaves only 3 guys who can do anything on offense. Manek was the key. With that said they have sealed the deal 4x in my life. The OP of this thread potentially had a team deliver on 1 and has to hang his hat on their highest accomplishment of 25 years being getting their ass whooped by an SEC school and a Cinderella school in fball, and losing their only shots in bball natty’s like always. Hopefully not the problem. Hubert’s UNC ties run so deep with being a player and being Walter Davis’ uncle, and being an NBA player that obviously knew something about bball that made it the hire everybody expected. There wasn’t a Roy waiting around this time. UNC has always kept it in house in bball. It’s what makes us different from all the other blue bloods. But yeah, any SEC school suddenly being good at bball other than UK or Florida should raise a huge red flag. A guy I know had a son that started at GA St all 4 years. He went to IMG and visited Bama as a recruit. Absolute worst facilities of any bball school in the entire south per this guy. Said their football facilities were completely amazing as you would expect, but bball was worse than mid majors. Them landing the recruiting class they did last year was a giant head scratcher.
