TobyTyler
You guys with kids , thoughts on this my son (15) and his buddies have taken to boxing. my son is not a big kid (he runs cross country, track, so skin and bones) but his buddies are bigger and can do some damage i asssume. this weekend is 2nd week of their fights, they set up a card for my backyard. (with odds and lot of betting lol. one kid comes over in suit does announcing) cple buddies told me i am nuts, and some kid will get a broken nose or worse, and parents will flip out on me. i know some of the parents, but not all. i bought them headgear , they have 14oz gloves. sounds like mostly friends fighting friends, so don't expect anybody to snap. can somebody sue the shit out of me? WVU
can you be sued? 100% yes. Will you be sued? 99% no If you are worried about that 1% have the kids and their parents sign a waiver. Even with that waiver you can 100% get sued though

Jimmy Hoffa
While being a fun and healthy activity for all involved... You are opening yourself to liability problems. I gave my 2 oldest kids boxing gloves when they were young teens and had no issues. But when they started boxing their friends in my backyard I redirected them to the nearby park. KingKolzig
rumor around that town is that some kids snuck in beer. ok that happens at every single graduation party. they are just so desperate for black victims these days

KingKolzig
the guy didnt buy the alcohol for the teenagers. 18 year old teenagers buy their own alcohol and sneak it into a guy who throws a party for his daughter. oh wait. a jogger who cant swim got drunk and went in the water. you done. your life is over. tell your loved ones from your jail cell not to hang out with joggers in the future

No, just don’t entertain the thought of allowing this. EVER JFC Toby, what possible good do you think can come from this???
The X
Not worth the risk. All it takes is one kid to take a solid shot to his squash and end up like HUAD. Then you'll lose your house and paying child support for the rest of your life. See if you can find a nearby gym where parents can sign a waiver. mikeman
My comment is to tell them it's a great idea, just not at your house with your approval, let them do it somewhere else and you dont want to know about it.
joeybagadonuts
Love the idea but agree w others that in this day and age , you’re almost assuredly going to encounter more trouble than it’s worth hosting this.
