Top Gun Maverick was about the only good one from last year but was absolutely phenomenal. This movie looked like Old School/Wedding Crashers/Superbad type of fun comedy, but if it's just meh then I guess it's a summer of reruns. mikeman Posted June 27, 2023 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2023 I just got back, it was ok - I didn't expect too much and was not disappointed, parts of it were almost painful to watch because they tried so hard with the writing to make it edgy and amusing. But my gal jennifer looked great in every scene and she was bare beam and butt naked. I paid $5 billy because it's cheap tuesday, the normal rate is apparently $8.75. Honestly Ben Affleck is one of the best directors out there. He reads books about crime/suspense and turns them into really good movies. The rest of Hollywood just seems to spit out garbage just for the sake of making a summer movie. Everybody just streams crap now, and as a result the theaters cost too much for 2 hours. Last movie I went to there was only one other person in the theater and it was for Top Gun Maverick.
