it was just OK, certainly not fantastic by any stretch

Well that sucks to hear, bc I don't see a single movie that I have any interest in seeing this summer.  Top Gun Maverick was about the only good one from last year but was absolutely phenomenal.  This movie looked like Old School/Wedding Crashers/Superbad type of fun comedy, but if it's just meh then I guess it's a summer of reruns.

I just got back, it was ok - I didn't expect too much and was not disappointed, parts of it were almost painful to watch because they tried so hard with the writing to make it edgy and amusing.

But my gal jennifer looked great in every scene and she was bare beam and butt naked. :boner

I paid $5 billy because it's cheap tuesday, the normal rate is apparently $8.75.

yes, i thought it was just OK as well

for gmcarroll and others, i think there is 1 movie to look forward to... and that's mission impossible

I never even liked the first one.  Honestly Ben Affleck is one of the best directors out there.  He reads books about crime/suspense and turns them into really good movies.  The rest of Hollywood just seems to spit out garbage just for the sake of making a summer movie.

Christopher Nolan was top notch for a while but he's started making high budget uninteresting garbage to me lately.

the first mission impossible was a confusing mess, since then they keep getting better and better

like top gun maverick, they are a real treat in the theater, like the john wick movies

agree about nolan, oppenheimer looks uninteresting to me too

Movies theaters are really a sad reality today.  Nobody goes anymore after covid.  Prior to that they would be packed like always.  Everybody just streams crap now, and as a result the theaters cost too much for 2 hours.  Last movie I went to there was only one other person in the theater and it was for Top Gun Maverick.
