I usually see ignorant fukks saying "FLIP ONE TIME ONLY"

 

that is completely wrong

 

think about it...if you want medium rare and it cooks half and half, the exact center will be medium rare after flipping once...but just outside center is medium, farther away is well done

 

what you want want to do is flip constantly. this keeps the juices flowing back AND THE HEAT FROM GETTING TOO HOT ON ONE SIDE

 

a great cook doesnt just hit the center at medium rare...a great cook leaves no dark rings around the medium rare center

Keep it up gonna message your mom and tell her you are drinking again and to put a lock on the refrigerator or cellar door to keep you away from that bud light....

but you have to keep flipping

just think about it....you leave it half on one side--only the very middle is medium, same with when you flip it

 

if you flip it every 30 seconds, you dont create that brown ring around the edges.

 

you can sear or reverse sear before/after this process

 

do not do 1 flip and thats it

i mean, i agree with BGS, but im gonna get the deluxe one with stand for christmas

 

you gotta make sure to add fat (BUTTER) because you are losing so much taste

 

let me tell you guys....BOTTOM LINE-----a griddle is 100x better than a grill

 

it keeps all the fat/butter/oil on there.

 

you arent getting fat because of butter and oil...its the carb/sugary snacks
