Who will look petty? The people wasting taxpayer dollars trying to impeach a President for a phone call? Or the one hoping to investigate political corruption?

Not only that, but if the dems had any brains they would be trying to accomplish something, they have the house and have done nothing, that looks terrible. Normal people in the swing states that will decide this election, know this country has issues that need dealing with. They see trump doing what he said he'd do on a variety of issues, the dems are doing nothing they talked about.

Impeachment is NOT an accomplishment.

Meaning the D’s put their eggs in one basket hoping to get him out and doing nothing else.

Instead of posting Dreamer, The Logical Song is a better fit. ;)

DOJ says Individual -1 can't be indicted. Trump says you can't investigate or impeach him. In the meantime he's manipulating a future election to his advantage. America has become the most corrupt Democracy in the world under Trump. Thank you RepubliCons. The only solution is impeachment. If elections weren't being manipulated maybe you wait him out.

Is Individual -1 the same person that stole millions from charities? Asking for a friend.

We are now finding out his foreign policy towards Turkey has nothing to do with America's national interest and security it has everything to do with the Trump Towers in Istanbul. He abandoned are partners the Kurds for his personal gains.

Where are the RepubliCONS.

He has a American Nazi for his top senior aid. Where are the RepubliCons?

And then there's Rudy the clown, manufacturing and trafficking dirt and conspiracies to damage reputations of Patriotic Americans and TRUMPS political opponent. Where are the RepubliCons?

And we all know he'll skate on every one, unfortunately. But it's great to see. Energy galore. D's can't blow it by nominating a Biden or a Bloomberg.

The critical point is near. The true GOP movers - McConnell notably - must decide before primaries kick off:

1) Remain sold out to a criminal, 4th grade literacy, drug addled, clear mentally unstable man facing massive legal and financial court cases for the next 56 months or

2) Throw him to the legal wolves and use the next 10 months as a desperate attempt to save their national brand

With any normal person the answer would be an obvious #1 using next six weeks to negotiate a plea bargained resignation.

However, with a sociopath whose brain is demonstrating clear signs of expanding FTD, he may well be incapable of true nedgotiation and will demand to ride the ship to it's ultimate demise in which case the resignation will be more forcibly drawn out and likely includes Tiny going scorched earth

You're thought processes are muddled by hate, any republican that abandoned trump would lose all support from trump voters(it would be a betrayal), it's not an option.  Quite frankly there is no republican party anymore, Trump is the party, and it wont go away when he's gone, they can never go back to  squishy guys like rubio/bush, etc. In 2024 the next republican would have to embrace his policies and more or less his style.

Of course it's possible trump would stay on for a 3rd term, when you're a living God, anything is possible.

Perhaps the COMMANDERS two eldest sons will run for the oval office in 2024...………..and then of course, BARRON is looming large to take command in 2044

2 isn’t really an option unless they had someone warming up in the bullpen who they thought could lead the party. Idk who that would be at this time.

Thanks, i forgot about that, Don JR would be excellent. :cheers

We are so fortunate that Trump is the healthiest man to ever be president(as confirmed by his Dr), which is why extended terms are viable.

Bill Maher predicts Donald Trump Jr. will be the GOP nominee in 2024

I like him because he's kinda brash like his dad, he's not afraid to say F you to his haters.  As far as barron goes, i'd like to see trump set him up with a few porn stars(sweet ones since he's young and inexperienced), you know, get him started on the right path. :cigar

Can't disagree as I personally perceive the GOP of my adult lifetime (1977 onward) to have fully died in Nov 2012. Strongest evidence is the field of a dozen unelectables who competed with Trump in spring of 2016.

The motivation to attempt a rebuild will come from realization that continuing to support "the trump party" = death of GOP for possibly a generation (20+ years); whereas bringing in a short term saviour (Romney....and yes I know he would lose but he is clean enough to allow the beginning of rebranding) means they *might* have a shot at competing nationally by 2028-2032.

All in all, it's a tall order because on virtually every notable social & political policy point the American electorate is strongly trending Progressive. Insistence on rebuilding with some kind of "return to Reagan or other 1990s claptrap" is a big waste of resources. And thus - it brings us back around to real possibility they ride the trump train right off the rails in a spectacular historical destructive crash and some truly new 21st century version of the GOP emerges over the next 20 years

It's hysterical that you "suggest' that republicans put up what's likely the least popular republican in the nation as their candidate? :laugh

I "suggest" that when Trump wins his second term and the dems reevaluate their path forward, that they put up Hillary in 2024.

its the only way we're ever gonna be in a position to pay it down.

other option is we all just slowly bleed out. everyone loses much worse in that policy.

hard part is getting politicians to ever WANT to pay it down when we're able to. trump like everyone else, he just wanna keep spending.

How does corporate America pocketing your money plus interest leaving you with a further reduction in services and infrastructure, help to pay down debt?

It doesn't. Just a simple transfer of wealth.

Every time I hear a conservative say that the dems are gonna take my money and give it away I just cringe.

Trump is finished. The massive National Security breach he, his entourage of idiots and his family have created, will be a focal point and an out for the Republican Party.

National Security breaches will resonate very strongly with every intelligent voter in the Country. Pence will be shown the door as well.

Niki Haley will very quickly and forcefully clean up the mess, restore honor and pride to the Conservative movement and the reputation of America on the global stage.

The Trump family will be incarcerated or selling cheap cosmetics within a year or two.
