Machiavelli
how did it get to be so cut and dried that all social programs or investment is the devil and that capitalism is thievery? Neither one is the case. Bernie is of the mindset that if you work you should not struggle, an honest capitalist leader would counter with the harder you work the more wealth you can become. The fukk is wrong with that? Agree. But all that matters is messaging. Not even 'facts' matter------to either side. If we can all be honest, Bernie is FDR 2.0, and his programs helped bring about transformative change that was good for America and by extension, the world. Now, I do not know how correct the math is on the graphics that show that Bernie can pay for all his plans, but if so, then that is a pure game changer in the way we can set up life for the next 50-100 years. Because.........in time, his stuff will be enacted anyway, so if they are viable, we may as well start now and figure out how to adjust and adapt. kovacsbar
Here's another guy. All that matters is messaging not facts. Or anything else. I'll flip that coin. The American people are dumb as fukk, can be lied to repetetively by basically anyone about anything and have no real interest in their own future welfare, other than quarreling with each other about which packaged message or lie suits them. MAGA.

theguesser
This is how an actual leader responds to a global health crisis. Not blaming the other party, not blaming the media, at a Nazi rally.

Not blaming the other party, not blaming the media, at a Nazi rally. Even you have to admit that Obama was weak on almost everything he did? And it's terrible that you call patriotic americans attending a Trump Rally nazi's, that's just wrong.

Read something else earlier from a college that said metrics like Twitter engagement, ad buys and endorsements means Bernie wins SC tonight. America can only hope. Plus a car/gas and insurance, why should only the rich have decent transportation, it's a human right by gum!
mikeman
Trump mocking Bloomberg tonight at the sepac conference, pointed, accurate words. President Donald Trump thrilled CPAC audiences imitating “Mini” Mike Bloomberg at the podium Saturday. The crowd roared with delight as Trump squatted at the podium to appear like the shorter former New York City Mayor as he recapped the Democrat debate.“Boy, did Pocahontas destroy him, I’ll tell you,” Trump said. The president mocked Bloomberg for spending historic levels of his own money on ads and then dropping in the polls.“It just shows you can’t buy an election,” he said. “I mean, it just — there’s a point at which people say, you gotta bring the goods a little bit too. You gotta bring the goods.”Trump mocked Bloomberg’s staff, suggesting they were only keeping the campaign running to get more money.“I know some of these people, they are ripping him off, they are laughing all the way to the bank,” Trump said. “Keep running Mike!”

kovacsbar
the fed has absolutely no mandate to prop up a stock market. none. the fed is mandated to see to full employment and manage inflation. Stimulus money is not meant for stock buybacks and dividends. Until it is invested into the economy instead of false equity valuation, the economy will continue to slide as it has since mid 2018. There has been little other than consumer spending holding it up. That is over as of this virus. There is nothing real at all, zero, nada, zilch to drive stock prices to record highs in the near future. Were stocks grossly overvalued before this crash? Absolutely. Is the Global Economy gonna expand in the next few quarters. No. Is consumer spending gonna remain at record levels. Not a chance. Why the fukk would stocks go to record highs. Not a chance.
