Fortunately, I have a handyman on call and no one ever had to know. One of her two "chores" was to take her dishes to the sink after eating. The other was to make her bed. John Boy is literally a dumb country bumpkin who never learned to do anything for himself. He depended on women for things like paying bills, talking to people who call the house, cooking, cleaning, and making appointments. I told him that it boggles my mind that you can't use a cell phone or computer. Never even tried. His response was that he's used to the old rotary phones 🤣 I reached out to a few civil litigation lawyers and elder services. I'm not putting up with this guy's shit for Easter weekend. He is not independent and now I'm seeing blood smeared all over doors and walls. I'm not related to him. We agreed that if it doesn't work out, he'll find other options. But of course that's not happening. His own children won't take him for Easter weekend so I can enjoy my time off. Won't even put him in a hotel room.
