KingRevolver
This guy thought he was signing-up for a no-limit hold 'em tournament @ WSOP, and accidentally signs up for this game that he's never played in his life. He ends up winning the bracelet. LOL http://news.yahoo.com/minnesota-mans-mistake-leads-winning-pokers-top-prize-144539120.html

KingRevolver
I'm thinking next year we can send someone to Vegas to play one in one of the smaller tournaments. Would be cool.
LCD
It just shows you random this shit is. A guy who had never played that particular game still had a much better chance of winning a bracelet than if he had played a similar small buy-in large field NLHE tournament at the WSOP where he would probably have had to win like 25 straight all-ins to get to the final table. I've heard the $1500 tourneys are just shovefests. The main event you get many more chips and a better structure so it's easier (though no that easy) for better players to come out on top. KingRevolver
Interesting. I thought a lot of these guys just (of course want the money but) have a large interest in winning a WSOP bracelet. You think they'd play a bit safer in the smaller tournaments. I don't know. joeybagadonuts
I play some 2-7TD (triple draw ) it's a pretty fun game. I wish we could switch up the weekly tourney and play some PLO or stud or draw or something other than NL every week
joeybagadonuts
There are some great $1500 events. Short handed nl, plo, horse , Etc We should have put a few people in the millionaire maker and the colossus this year. The milly maker was a $1500and the colossus was only $565 and was a rebuy

Seanie Mac
Couldn't imagine playing a whole event of a draw game. Triple draw is fun as part of a mix game, but not a fan of it as a whole.

LCD
Kinger, we talked about at least doing PLO. Can we do that for a week or two at least. As soon as all those people in the tourney who like to chase flushes realize they have a lot more opportunity they'll be cool with it.
