They are playing like shit right now but they got their ass kicked by Houston last year also. Things change fast in bases, chi sox arent all of a sudden good because they swept a garbage Oakland team not worried about that side with timely/roc. Joey Bats still really hasnt done anything either that obviously wont last much longer. Pitching cant be any worse and theyve been talking to Philly about Hamels and Cinci about Cueto. I dont panic on my bets like you guys seem to do. Maybe cause even if the mlb sides go 0-3 my year isnt ruined. Way i always look at it i still got my moneys worth being entertained all year following the bet. You are supposed to wait before the year is over to realize your team is good or bad? Making moves and being concerned with bad play is all considered panicking? He came in to a situation where the expectations were unfairly high two years ago being projected for 90+ wins and they were under .500. Last year they got off to the amazing start so people thought theyd get to the playoffs but they didnt. So now a third year where people are disappointed so far could definitely lead to him being fired Milw same thing. It wasnt freaking out about just this year, the GM said it was a reaction to their record the last 100-120 games or whatever dating back to last year. Never seen that view before Point is cee teams will all have good/bad runs in a 162 game season Jays had a 40 game run much worse than this last year. Same with Seattle or at least a similar run to start the year. Cleveland sucked last year at the start, Pittsburgh started off same as this year and all those teams had winning records and contended for playoffs. Milwaukee was one of the best records in baseball at this point last year and finished sub 500 i think. As had the best record by a lot 110 games in and missed the playoffs So my answer is the same as before. Its always better to start well and be ahead of pace but the season is so long. You just act like how teams are playing now is how they will play all year. Some will for sure but there are at least 2-3 teams that are under .500 right now that will make the playoffs Toronto, Baltimore, Boston, Pittsburgh, SD, Seattle, Miami, Clev all teams right now with bad records under .500 and imo can still win 85-90+ and make the playoffs Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
