IAG
What's the spot price on Platinum? I forget what we all paid when we got it from the same guy that time.
spankie
I really hate this silver and gold stuff. Such a hassle to buy and then sell. It's like double the work.

I'm thinking we paid close to a dime...oh well, must think long term. unless you need the money i think of it like gas in your car... yes you're holding some gas in the tank but don't you want lower prices since you're going to be buying more? most people have the wrong view on it, i talk to 30 year olds that are glad their 401k is up and the stock market is at a record high, they should be thinking the opposite because now they are overpaying
Guest boatboatboat
A 30 year old will be selling in 35 years. What's the lowest rate of return in history over a 35 year period

Maybe I should buy more. I'm just frustrated because my one stock I have any real money in is going down, while the Dow goes up. It's done well for me this year, but when you hear about these gains everyone is making it's disappointing. So I'm a chickenshit and sitting on money at 1% which even if you had $2 million in the bank would put you in poverty level living off the interest.
