  1. Non contact could not stop Teddy Bridgewater Hurt prospects from becoming a reality on August 30th. Good Afternoon and thank you for visiting us at The Gambling Forum. Good morning and welcome back to HRWager. As the sun rises, the Mets fortunes are starting to look up as Cespedes is storming back off of the DL. While the Nats hold a nine game lead entering September, they can not afford to dial it down for perhaps two more weeks. So today’s matchup has Max and another established pitcher on the mound for even more wagering stability. Which way will profit come in from in this 7:05 PM start on 8/30? Nationals Phillies : Momentum At 60-71, Philadelphia might be a shade better than projected at the start of the season. Case in point is Eickhoff. Only 9-12 but a solid 3.87 ERA in over 150 innings of work. Hard to keep focused and grind for a team most know are going nowhere. His recent resume in the last three games is starting to unravel a tad. 1.42 WHIP and a mid four ERA translates that he is running out of gas. They will probably get very close to 200 IP from the man but he is going to be limping towards the finish line for them. Market Even in the face of that, Washington opened near the -225 level and has crept close to -200 in the ML. Totals has shifted contrary to the ML with the eight runs still being the bar but the under getting more expensive in the overnights. Max has not been stellar for his last three starts. His ERA is a run higher in that stretch compared to his season norm. On the road, Atlanta and Colorado both got to him before he finally silenced the already still bats of Baltimore last time out. Being on the road, Max is not worth -200 ML in this situation. RL has a 70 point difference but is still chalk near -130 at -1 1/2 on the Nats. Confusing lines except for the totals. Look for Max to dial it back up for this one. Total under for the game or the team total under on Philadelphia are the paths to punish in this one. Good fortune and we will see you next time here at the HRW. The post Nationals Phillies : MLB Game of the Day 8/30 appeared first on href="http://www.hrwager.ag">HRWager. Source

Over 32.000 came out to see the Mets and cheer them on as Cespedes went Clubber Lang on a pitch in extra innings. Baltimore is getting little fan support and are still in the wild card spot. Let us look at these two teams right now here at HRWager. Playoff Races : Bump in the Night What a night as the Marlins invade New York to take on the Mets. Scoreless draw as we head into the eight. Ichiro gets a double and eventually scores to put Miami (67-64) up one to nothing. Passed ball in the bottom of the inning allows Reyes to scamper home and tie the game. We go to extra innings where we hear the contact with the ball. Not needing to see the Cespedes bat flip, we know the game was over as he clobbered home the winning run 2-1 in extra innings. This has gotten the Mets tied with Miami and puts them within eyesight of the Cardinals for the last wild card spot as baseball is preparing to enter September. Courtesy of MLB.Com on Youtube Camden Yards Have Quit? Less than 16,000 people were in attendance as Toronto (75-36) beat Baltimore 5-1 last night. At 71-60, the Orioles are still in the race for the playoffs but have little fan support to show for it. Seating capacity is over 45,000 at Camden Yards. It is not that Baltimore is sub par at home. So far this year, they are 42-23 at home. Quite a bit of productivity for the money shelled out for the few Baltimore fans that could be bothered going to the game. The team has to have taken notice of the lack of support. Expect this team to tank for September in part because the fan base will not get off of their collective behinds to support the team. Playoff baseball is getting most teams involved. One team not willing to do so is the Baltimore Orioles. Be prepared to fade them on the road and at home for the upcoming month. Good fortune to you today and we will see you later on here at the HRWager. The post Playoff Races in Action Last Night appeared first on href="http://www.hrwager.ag">HRWager. Source

Its Monday so let us play armchair quarterback here at HRWager. Most playing time for the starters happened with the final week being relegated to rest and the last round of cuts for the season. Now after seeing the stars and supporting casts, we have seen which players are ready to make a huge leap for the 2016 regular season. Let us get down to the task at hand right now here at HRWager. Best NFL Week : Future Quarterbacks Three signal callers who already have starting gigs shone a degree of polish that we did not think they would have already. Osweiler against the Cardinals was superb. Winston in Tampa is clicking with Mike Evans which should be a potent fantasy combination. Finally, Bridgewater was professional in grinding down the sad sack San Diego Chargers. Kudos to all these three for the strides they have made are considerable heading into 2016. Pity Demaryius Usually quarterbacks make receivers and not the other way around. Thomas of Denver has the load on the offense. He saw the starter and his play calling go for six straight runs in the opening sets that were only interrupted by punting. Demaryius played wonderfully but even he can not hope to keep his numbers up from last year. Here is a consistently improving player whose stat line will not show it in 2016. Defensive player that is ready to roll is Robert Nkemediche of the Cardinals. We can see all the upside the organization did in drafting him in the first round. Once he heals from those nagging injuries, the richer have gotten more wealth on the defensive front in Zona. Good fortune to you today and we will see you tomorrow here at HRWager. Great to see everyone here again at HRWager. Today the Kings take a step that could get them in the playoffs. Few can rival their depth in the front court. Distribution of the ball and management of egos have always been the points of contention. Find out from HRWager News how this simple signing could be a big leap forward for the Kings in the 2016 season. Sacramento Ty Lawson : One Year Such is the state of Ty Lawson’s career that he opted for a one year deal. Part was that he signing longer could greatly reduce his earning power. Teams are going to want to see the player he was for the Nuggets instead of the Rockets and Pacers failed test last year. When he is healthy, his speed in the Mile High City gave opponents of the Nuggets a great many problems. Last year, he got exiled to the one team that really does not play well with each other. He and the Houston Rockets did not work well together. Unfair Rap A lot of this is not his fault. Harden demands so much of the ball both in shots and handling that a player of Lawson’s ability wasted away. Not only that but Ty also has to have his touches or he gets disinterested in the affairs of the team. By the time he was shipped to the Pacers, there was only a handful of games for him to get into the mix. The stint was too short. Here in the Kings, he and Darren Collison are the only players of true ability to get the ball down the court with play making ability. Look for this to be a marriage where both parties will benefit from this. His speed on the court reminds one of John Wall. If he has most of that and he can get along with Cousins then this Kings team should be a lower seed in the 2016 playoffs. Good fortune and we will see you next time here at the HRW. Great to see everyone back here again at HRWager. For baseball fans, the game on Saturday with the Angles took a surreal tint with home plate umpire Mike Everitt working his ejection arm. Three occasions caused debates with him utilizing the nuclear option to end the discussions. What went on and how something like this can provide an us against the world attitude that is used quite often for on the field success? Detroit Tigers Ejections Youtuber Rexxyi put together this video clip timeline of the events that transpired. Watch how two coaches and two hitters get ejected over the course of the game. The viewers can tell that Viktor Martinez was really upset as he made an effort to put the bat down and his hands behind the back. Quiet and soft spoken saw him unleash a fury that got him gone. Another person of the crew had to play the heavy on three occasions and insert himself between the players, coach, and the home plate umpire. No Way Going to Win Even though the Tigers lost 3-2, the game was super hard for them to win. Umpire was notching everything close as a strike. The last discussion that led to an ejection was perhaps the best. JD : Having a bad day? Home Plate : What did you say? JD : Having a bad day today? HP : You are gone JD : Why? HP : You said it twice! JD : You asked me to repeat what I said!! One has to admire the sideshow that this devolved into. If Detroit misses out on the wild card by one game, they can point to this affair as being an unequal playing field for the game to be waged on. In Beantown, many of our natural inclinations go towards the over. An expectation of a lot of runs via this potent Red Sox offense. However after we look at the momentum of the two starters here, our tunes might be changed a little bit. Great to see everyone here again at HRWager as we attempt to pluck profit from this prime time matchup at 8PM EST. KC Boston : Line Movement Boston is one of those brand names that inspires wagering based on whom they are. A modest ML of -135 has been bet on overnight to the tune of -147 for the home team. Do they have that much of a decided advantage over a hot Royals team? Rodriguez for the Red Sox is polarizing in our eyes. WHIP under one with an ERA 2.35 in his last three outings. However, he usually does not last beyond five innings even in his good starts. For this reason, if one wanted to go with the Red Sox then the bettor would have to be comfortable with their bullpen in this one. Venutra Gearing Up Meanwhile Ventura is even better in his last three. WHIP under one like his counterpart but with a smaller ERA of 1.86. Over twenty strikeouts to give him plenty of punch to get him out of jams. Hard to believe that the line movement in this one is going against KC. Has to be a legion of Red Sox’s fans betting on a prime time game that is doing the damage here. Total of nine runs and the little movement on it since it has been issued means that the linesmakers suspect something odd in this one. Two pitchers doing this well should not combine for a 9. High humidity should give the ball plenty of lift for a fluke hr or two here. No way Boston should be bet full game ML. Five inning line possibly but this is KC +125 ML written all over it. Good fortune and we will see you later here at HRWager. The post KC Boston : Sunday Night Baseball Playoff Chase 8/28 appeared first on href="http://www.hrwager.ag">HRWager. Source

Social media and the Internet are still aflame this morning after Colin Kaepernick took a stance by sitting. During the part of the pregame where the nation is honored, Colin would not stand during the National Anthem. Find out why this overshadowed most of what went on during the Packers Niner Week Three Preseason game last night. NFL Scandal : Kaepernick Sits Many sought out Colin after the game to find out why. Steve Wyche of NFL Media was successful and brings us these direct quotes from his conversation with the 49’ers signal caller. I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder. […] This is not something that I am going to run by anybody. I am not looking for approval. I have to stand up for people that are oppressed. … If they take football away, my endorsements from me, I know that I stood up for what is right. Tinderbox Of course when something is this combustible, a prudent organization would choose to address this. Niner’s top brass came out with their own statements on this. In essence, they described what the National Anthem means to their organization. They stressed that at the heart of this is freedom. So to condone Kaepernick in exercising his freedom to sit would be foolhardy. Heading into the Rams opener on Monday Night Football, we are no closer to knowing who will open up at QB for San Fran. Good fortune to Chip Kelly as this NFL Scandal is not going to go away anytime soon. Good fortune in your wagering ventures and we will see you on Sunday here at HRWager. Great to see everyone back here at HRWager. Flushing Meadows main draw action is set to start this Monday. Draws are out but the established powers in both the ATP and WTA are in more than a little jeopardy. Let us see whom is under the weather. What players can rise up to take advantage of the vacuum up top? All of this for you right now here at HRWager. 2016 US Open : Shoulder for #1 Shoulder problem for Serena. Significant setback after Wimbledon saw her greatly limit her action before RIO and we were witness to the results after that. If this takes any power off of her serve then she is in deep trouble at the fourth Grand Slam. Without easy points, there are enough counter punchers in the draw to plague her. Look for an exit near the semis if her serve slows up at all. Novak’s Wrist Part physical and the rest mental has accounted for Novak’s slide in and after Wimbledon. Against Querrey, he just could not muster the mental energy necessary to do the deed. Now with a left wrist injury, he could be worn down. However, the gulf between him and anyone else not named Andy Murray is huge. Surface is slow enough that he will not just be served off of it as he was at the All England Club. Look for Andy Murray to continue his resurgence with another slam title here. Even with Andy riding high, most of the other top men and women are much closer to the pack this year. For those that crave underdog ML wagers, this is the slam for you. After one round, we can tell what the surface is like and how high the ball bounces this year. Vital information to look for a style and physical height to embrace for the 2016 US Open. Good fortune and we will see you next time here at HRWager. Here in the States it is at 10PM but down under it is in the middle of the day on August 27th. Fire up those DeLorean time machines and lets us go back to the future for some profit. Great to see everyone here at HRWager starting off their weekend. Cal and Hawaii start the 2016 college football season in the Sydney Bowl. This game will count as a regular season win or loss for their records and associated props. Can Cal cover the nearly 20 point spread all these miles away from home? 2016 College Football Kickoff : Hawaii and Travel If any team can be used to this sort of trek, it is Hawaii. Back and forth to the mainland several times a season has travel down pat as much as it can be for any team. Another advantage in taking the Rainbows +19.5 or so is that the expectations on this Cal team are too high. Great strides they have made from a one win team a few years ago. Goff got drafter #1 from last year’s eight win team. Only five players return on the offense from last year. Defense gave up over 30 points per game also. They will need to almost keep Hawaii to single digits in this one for the win. Ideal Wager Both teams have a ton of rebuilding to do. Rainbows at 3-10 last year were doormatts in most regards. Former QB is now their coach. He got his chops as the Nevada offensive coordinator. So he can move the ball and knows what it is like playing and traveling with this team. Nick Rolovich will have them up for at least a half in this game. This is where one should strike. Hawaii + 12 1/2 is a lot to spot a team so wrecked on the offensive side of the ball. A lot of pieces to replace. Wholesale changes that might sync up in the game but takes a half to get going. Hawaii + 12 1/2 first half is your College Football Play of the Day. Wonderful to see all of us assembled again here at HRWager. August is coming to a close soon but this just gives us a higher quality of baseball to pluck profit from. Two established pitchers with teams leading their divisions but still vulnerable to being caught. Where will the profit come from this game where Texas opened near the -145 ML favorite? Cleveland Texas : Hamels in Excellent Form Even though he has given up six free passes and a 1.41 WHIP in his last three games, Cole Hamels has worked his way out of jams wonderfully in his last three. Home game against Detroit on 8/13 saw three walks and fourteen hits in seven innings just yield two earned runs. He has not had a bad outing at least since the middle of July. Compare that to Tomlins fate as of late for Cleveland and no wonder the betting action has gone on the Rangers in the overnights. Tribe Being Hit Hard 5-5 in their last ten, some starters like Tomlin are being shelled on a nightly basis. Home to Toronto, he gave up three home runs last time out. Visits to Yankees and Nationals were equally futile for him. The wagering on the Texas ML has been matched with the interest in the totals. Bar has been set for nine runs and most action has been on the over to drive it to -125. Getting to the point where 9 1/2 will soon be seen by HRW. Rangers have added Beltran and other key bats at the trade deadline. They have not paid off as of yet but hard to believe all of them can be contained by the likes of Tomlin. The gap between ML and RL is only 60 points but it is enough in this circumstance. -1 1/2 +125 for the Rangers tonight is your MLB Expert Tip of the day. Good Morning and welcome back to HRWager. Here we have two teams taking the field tonight for the 7PM game that each got their doors blown off the last time they played. BC at least lost to a very good Calgary team. Ottawa had the lowly Alouettes march in and decimate them. SO where will the profit be plucked from an opening line of – 3 1/2 on Ottawa tonight in CFL action. BC Ottawa : No More Burris Rushed back from a finger injury, Burris could not come close to the form he once had. Being over 40, his body does not have the bounce back it once did. Teams did not respect his ability to be accurate nor go deep as he could not get a good grip on the ball. As a result the RedBlacks offense fell off the face of the Earth. Now Harris is back and he is coming off from injury. Good news is that with the bye after this game, the fate of Ottawa for the season is looking up. Destiny in this game might not be as kind. Lions Potent and Balanced Offensively Fifth leading rusher in the league was a former RedBlack so the BC Lions ground game should have extra pep in their step. With the BC Lions QB having the third best passing yardage in the league, the RedBlacks defense will be hard pressed out of the gate. Combine that with an Ottawa offense that will need to get their bearings correct once again and no wonder the sharps have bet this line down to -2 on Ottawa. The movement in this game is absolutely spot on. So where do we collect profit in this one? Most advantage is going to be right away. First half wager on the BC Lions moneyuline should do the trick and get a winning wager to be graded in our sportsbook account. Go with BC ML first half for your CFL Free Pick of the Day at HRWager. Rory has ditched his putter because of Nike bailing on the club side of golf. He is trying out new sticks and should not be considered a favorite here. In fact, fade him while he tinkers his game in the heads up portion. Cant Miss with Kevin Na We love the attitude of Kevin Na. Almost like the guy is grateful for his chance to grind each week out there. Four top 25’s in a row. Top ten at the Wyndham so let us embrace him heads up for the whole event. A person that is not a grinder and seems to have some wild swings is actually Dustin Johnson. He was the hottest golfer on the planet and then phoned in that 77. Look for him to tinker like Rory to get his game back. He will not be the worldbeater despite good metrics and an excellent history here. Golf channel has our coverage 2PM to 6PM on Thursday and Friday. CBS helps them out over the weekend for a good eleven hours over the weekend. Great entertainment value. Jason Day will certainly have the advantage over Rory for the first round heads up wagering. Kevin Na should be embraced against the players he will be pitted with. DJ is to be lain off this week as he is trying to recover his form. Good fortune with our PGA Free Picks and we will see you next time here at HRWager. A Royals team that has won nine in a row. Marlins are not bad at 65-60 but they have fell from the wild card perch with Stanton out until at least September. All of that thrown into the equation and Miami opened at -250 in this situation. There is more behind this mind boggling line right now here at HRWager. Kansas City Miami : Fernandez Not What He Was Going to the well are the bookmakers with Fernandez of Miami. Man used to be invulnerable at home before that big injury of his last year. Now he is mortal and look at his last three games to see the state of his affairs in terms of momentum. Has 1.63 WHIP Over five ERA 0-2 in last three starts Not exactly the man shutting the door on the barn when the storms come. Interesting that the movement is on the Royals with this inflated line but the total is at 7. Not only that but more money coming on the under. Let us see what the KC starter has for us. Gee In Same Boat Gee for Kansas City is in the same boat momentum wise as Ferndanez. His WHIP is over 1.4 and he eclipses four in the ERA department. He is back to regular rest after checking in on 8/10 and 8/13. This is the same pitcher that the Mets got rid of. We have no apprehensions that he is a world beater. However with both starters just being average of late, can the Royals just win once in three games that this would be played in. KC making that late season push. They are going to go to the matt and try to exhaust all resources to get back in. Look for a scrappy game. Maybe the Royals do not win a lot of time here but they certainly win enough to make the +200 worthwhile. Good fortune with this and we will see you later on here at HRWager.
