  1. >>You don't think that sportsbooks, stores, or restaurants that lease space at a casino have full access to casino security?<< Sure they do. But having some clerk at a William Hill call security to bounce a completely civil bettor because some guy on the phone told him to is a huge stretch. They'll just refuse to take his bets is all and you go down the street or to a kiosk somewhere else. The point is they can't stop you if you want to bet and their renters status does not give them the same latitude to deal with customers on that level as a place like Wynn or Westgate. People fail to realize how silly the book sounds in a situation like that.
  2. In Nevada there are rules on both sides and if they want us out there is a procedure. They don't go that route very often because they realize how lame it is to tell Gaming or the police that they don't want someone gambling there because they don't suck as much as the average player. Both entities get annoyed at those type of trespassing cases. In the case of sports books, many of them are just renting the space so the ban can not even be an 86 from the premises. They just tell the player they don't want your action but there's not a lot those places like William Hill can do to enforce that. Tickets go as written and must be paid off so if you can get the bet in you will get paid. I take it Boat thinks that if asked nicely to go away that you should just go away. If someone is in a position to steal your money, like the post-up shops are, then that's what you do. Those shops get to have their cake and eat it too. In Nevada it's a little different. They can't pick and choose to that degree who they deal to and part of the privilege of conducting business in a regulated state is that you have to play by the rules. If they wanted to use the system to exclude players they could but they hate looking so weak. Unless it's a legally binding banning I don't acknowledge it. They can cut players off apps but I'll still go to the window until the consequences are such that it's just not worth it.
  3. People who claim they can't bet at William Hill just have no imagination at all. Zero. Either that or they have decided that leaving the house is too much of a hassle. The same pretty much goes for Station and Caesars. Ever been to Rancho Wild Wild West or Fiesta Henderson or El Cortez? There are just too many outlets for them to monitor. Consolidation sucks but it also makes it nearly impossible to keep anyone specific out. William Hill is on a whole different level. If you can't bet at William Hill you aren't trying. Many beg out by posturing big-time and stating that they won't take their bet size. Again - no imagination and/or lazy. The guys that complain just want to bet on the app.
  4. They can only ban you from an app, just like William Hill. Stopping you from betting over the counter when there are multiple locations to bet at is a whole different story. A lot of guys claim to be banned from William Hill. The reality of it is that they could bet over the counter if they wanted to. They just want to bet on the app and can't.
  5. One of the problem with selling CGT is they have a number of bad deals in place at their hosting casinos. They will probably have to make serious concessions to get someone to take over those positions. Long term deals at bad rates to occupy spaces like Venetian/Palazzo. I have heard they pay $300,000 a month to operate there which sounds absurd but no one at CGT has denied it. A Euro outfit would be fine as long as it's not William Hill. Then we just sink deeper into the consolidation spiral and that's good for no one except William Hill. I'm rooting for Paddy Power.
  6. What are you hoping for when you bet something like that? That they don't notice the avalanche of money coming in and realize the mistake? That you somehow have the upper hand in that situation? I know you think you are getting one over on them but the fact of the matter is you are setting yourself up to get free rolled and/or barred. Offshore you are at their mercy. In NV you will get paid but you will probably have a headache doing so as they'll lock the ticket out and make you come in and have a supervisor unlock it. After getting paid you then get barred - so for one bet you lose that sports book or if it's offshore you put yourself in a can't win situation.
  7. When the first World Series was played in 1903, America was the only country playing baseball.
  8. It's a weird trait that some of these guys have rating these girls so low. I guess the inference is that since you don't rate them as high as the rest of the heterosexual world it's because you get such knockouts all the time. They pretty much all look like 9s and 10s to me.
  9. Colts Pagano or Wash Gruden. Off a breakout year for Cousins it's conceivable that there is a regression and team starts slow. Since Wash front office is a bit knee-jerk I could see them making an early move in an attempt to salvage the season. Pagano was almost gone once. Maybe firing a guy just off cancer recovery was a little too much for Irsay but I think he'd like to move on. Fisher probably gets a pass this year and the Rex Show will last the season just for entertainment value.
  10. >>Have also cashed out multiple millions to one guy who played between 500-800k per game. Not to him personally, but to the guy who made his bets. Both were very big names in the casino industry, both deceased.<< One has to be KK. The other could be any of a few but I'll guess Stupak.
  11. While I agree with Spankie that a certain segment of wine drinkers can be pretty pretentious asswipes, it doesn't diminish the enjoyment I get from drinking some vino with the right food. It's a different way of drinking and if you have a little something of a problem with alcohol, especially health issues, it has a sort of built in governor that goes along with it. You just can't drink a ton of wine the way you can beer or the hard stuff, nor would you probably want to. When the day comes where you've had it with binge drinking, mixing 5 different alcohols through the course of the night or just decide you need to change your ways then wine may be a good compromise. I don't believe it has significant health benefits like some do, I just think it's easier on your body all the way around.
  12. Maybe this has something to do with it. http://fortune.com/2016/04/06/barclays-bitcoin-goldman-circle/
  13. Thanks for your reply. I'll submit for a check instead then. Just a suggestion - when an offer like the one above is accepted by the player it seems only fair to let them complete the rollover before cutting their limits. It's sort of a bait and switch to do otherwise. Shortly after my initial deposit the limits were reduced to $25 which put me in rollover purgatory for months. Ever try to roll 9K @ $25 per bet? It isn't easy. Not a complaint on being categorized. That's fine, Just locking up a players funds for an unexpected time frame can be a problem for many. Intertops used to do the same type of thing. You'd end up being unable to withdraw for weeks just because you accepted a free $25 bet.
  14. Site says that depositing is fine but withdraws coming soon. Once you're set up for BCs isn't sending as easy as receiving?
  15. >>The casinos should give these away as a promo<< One casino did. Can't remember who but I have one along with the little silver hammer that comes to a sharp point to break the window out. I keep it in the trunk.
  16. >>Had breakfast with Fish and Voodoo @ Boulevard Bar and Grill.<< Wish I could confirm this but can't. Have never eaten at that place in my life. Loss of short term memory may be a sign that ones medication needs adjusting.
  17. I love sushi but my ceiling on what I'll pay for it is relatively low. Have been to Kabuto and Nobu and wouldn't go back. Certainly quality fish but for the price difference vs the good AYCE joints I'll go that route every day. Three of us at Nobu - tab $600+. Screw that. Kabuto more bare bones, hard-core sushi but with Raku a few steps away I'll spend half the money and have art on a plate there. Good AYCE places are somewhat plentiful in LV and even more so in Reno area. Tahoe, mysteriously, is fairly devoid of good sushi spots which makes no sense. A few of the better AYCE in LV for less than $30: http://www.yelp.com/biz/sushi-house-goyemon-las-vegas -Two locations in town, both good. Crowded during prime time so work around the edges for best experience. http://www.yelp.com/biz/lahaina-grill-las-vegas -Good spot for late night sushi - open till 4am or so and get's a diverse crowd. A bit of a drive at 10 miles from strip. http://www.yelp.com/biz/jjanga-japanese-restaurant-las-vegas -Best if like your sushi rapid-fire. They kick it out faster than anywhere else, especially if you sit at the bar. Open till 2am except Sundays (11pm). Just a couple blocks behind Treasure island.
  18. Don't forget the resort fees per night. They don't show you what that is when you book on travel sites (buried in fine print) but all casinos have them. $10-$30 per night. Enjoy.
  19. Mike - sounds like you'll be conflicted. If buffets are a Pro than Fishhead is a tough Con on your list. He has All-Access just about everywhere. If you fancy a good spread on the arm then he's your Fish. Tuna Salad and Cici beans for everyone.
  20. Monitor foul calls the first day. Some think there may be an effort made to tone down foul calls in general. If so, the good totals player will adjust as will the good coaches.
  21. >>i did tax returns for 106 hours last week (sadly that is not an exaggeration) so what the fuck are they bitching and moaning about<< THANK YOU Mike for putting things in their proper perspective. Getting annoyed about such trivial things like driving distance, parking issues or that a book will only take 50% the bet size you'd like is babyish and completely obnoxious to those who really have it rough daily.
  22. Take YES +240 at 5 Dimes on either backup taking a snap and tale NO -290 on Osweiller taking snap. A big plus EV semi-Polish middle if ever I saw one. D Anderson takes a snap and you scoop.
  23. WYNN: Osweiller takes a snap YES +245 NO -290 That's the only place I've seen that specific prop.
  24. >>More times than not, I pick-up RMI's $25 FP at the D for him........glad he got it out of the way himself early this week, takes a lot of pressure off.<< I can verify that he cashed his own D freeplay this week. Saw him slither out the front door of the D around lunchtime Monday. Since he didn't notice me I followed him to his secret play up the street. I had to make a quick stop into the Nugget to bet a Deshaun Watson prop, then circled back to find he had left the location. Probably off to check another trap nearby. Like BigFoot, video footage of this creature is rare but I'll try and get something down on film on the next sighting.
