That's what I thought/hoped for as well. But here was the actor's comments in EW - "I've been told I'm dead," he says. "I'm dead. I'm not coming back next season. So that's all I can tell you, really." My understanding is that the last book that was released ended the same as this season did with Jon Snow being stabbed and left for dead, so I guess what happens next is unknown and maybe the actor is just trying not to spoil anything.

Witnessed it many times. My college years as well as my single after college years coincided with Favre's younger partying days. Numerous times we'd see Favre, Chmura and Winters out a at a bar when Favre picks a girl, walks into the bathroom with her and has Chewy and Frankie guard the door for 20 minutes. Technically I don't know what happened in the bathroom since even if I had to go I wouldn't be allowed in, but I don't believe it a stretch to assume what was taking place. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Deanna at a later date, unbelievably sweet and down to earth.

I don't know if it is too rushed since most of us start looking at lines early in the week. I think the extra time just allows more time for stale lines to appear which I thought was the point of not having it go until Friday.
