Yup, I tried a few different styles and found your suggestion of the above seems to work the best.

I returned 930/1000, 890/100, and 922/1000 on 3 accounts today. Working on one now and I'm down $27 with $730 bet

Stayed in the HRH tour last time I was in Vegas The suite was very nice (similar to the one shown here) and was very cheap with especially when considering I booked a normal room and threw the check in girl $20 for a nice upgrade.

only lost more than $250 ($297) once and it was my first run through where i was betting the chalk to win and place for $10 each . didn't work well at all.

W2W it;s much easier to just bet all the morning chalk to place a $5-10 each. I usually bet $5 when the fave is even money or higher and $10 when they are chalkier than even money. Once you get the bonus, I've found its much better to bet either 20/$50 or 10/$1000 on a 1/9 to show on in a less than 6 horse race.

Not doing your own account and taking the free money is inexcusable if you like money I was able to talk maybe 1 out of 3 people I asked into doing it. I just offered them $200 up front to set up an account and cash the check nothing else. I funded them and did the work. Only 2 of the people that accepted said "How the hell are you making money off this and teach me how". For those people I let them fund it and I played it through to show them how in exchange for 50% of the profit. Let's just say September 2014 will be my highest earning month in a LONG time. Want to hear crazy... have seen many stories of people dropping $100k+ on a SINGLE BOTTLE of champagne (Cristal or Ace of Spades) at the club. Now mind you these are 30 liter bottle but still, that is fucking insane. Have seen a bunch of instagram posts of $200-300k tabs. UNREAL Also messed up one of my other accounts trying to bet all the horses and got crushed. I still need to run through a few more accounts in the next 2 days too. Hopefully the variance evens out.

If I remember correctly, cocktails at xs are around $20 each w tax.
