LeBron James Says He Has An Answer For Steph Curry’s ‘Champagne’ Comment

On Monday night, one of the best matchups of the entire NBA regular season is taking place when the Golden State Warriors roll into Cleveland for the first time since beating the Cavaliers for the NBA title back in June. Understandably, Steph Curry remembers it fondly:
“Obviously, walking in the locker room, it’ll be good memories,” Curry said Sunday. “Hopefully, it still smells a little bit like champagne.”It’s a nice sentiment and actually rather pithy, but it could easily be construed as bulletin board material by the Cavaliers, who aren’t eager to be reminded that the Warriors took the NBA title on their home floor. At any rate, their fans let Curry hear about it on Twitter, prompting this response:
I guess if you read the first sentence, the tone of the “champagne” clause is a little more sentimental than confrontational, but the Warriors are never prone to back down from a challenge — if nothing else, just because Draymond Green is on the team.
And even if it wasn’t meant as a challenge, LeBron James was listening:
When LeBron James finished up his media address after shootaround this morning, he walked away asking reporters why no one asked him about Curry’s comments. He said he had an answer for it.Our best guess is that the answer to which LeBron is referring will be out on the court on Monday night. Not that Cleveland needed any more motivation, but it should be a barnburner for sure now.
Sources also told cleveland.com that some Cavaliers took the quote as “disrespectful,” so tonight just got more hyped.

You guys see that? Curry buries a three-pointer from way downtown. Then LeBrick gets a foul called on him for pushing Curry to the floor. Curry then goes back and drains another one.
Thats how you say in your face Lebron
