The market is HUGE, it is definitely an efficient market .......beating many games by half a point will not make you a winner, as in many and most instances those half points are not worth 10 cents. E.g.....if you were to take +4.5 -110 on an NBA game and books like , but not limited to, Matchbook, Pinny, Cris, 5dimes, and Grande have a consensus close of +3.5 -110 .....in the long term........you will not lose!!!!
