I made some real Ramen once.  Was fantastic, think there are pictures in this thread.  Took way too long though.

I made some real Ramen once.  Was fantastic, think there are pictures in this thread.  Took way too long though.

I eat the 18 cent ramen, I see the fancy japanese ramen that costs like 90cents, is that really better? The way i look at it, I'm not really tasting the noodles, mostly the salt.

When i was in vegas a few weeks back I sprung for the  NY strip steak at the el-cortez, it was very good, priced around $35 if I recall.

 

 

Allright, I didn't really spring for it since it was comped, but it was good.

I recall when I was on the city bus in vegas going downtown from the airport, a bum got on and i could see through his plastic bag that he had a giant size box of ramen , prob a 12 pack.

I’m not gonna lie. For a cheap side dish I do the pasta-roni garlic and olive oil when I’m lazy. Only one of those that is decent.

I have a box, I prefer the packets though, they contain 3-4 servings, which means it's one.
