Carlos Beltran is very injury prone.He's not special. Mets released him last year and they don't have much outfield depth. Yankees have mason Williams Aaron judge and slide heathcott ahead of him. With Gardner Ellsbury Beltran and hicks in the bigs. Ackley would go to the outfield before they called him up and wasted a spot on the 40 man roster. Yanks Posted March 20, 2016 Report Share Posted March 20, 2016 This is sleeper....not stinker lolPlayed well 2nd half of last year. Knows he is playing 2nd everyday. No reason to press and wonder if they are gonna switch his position, trade him and no prospect behind him waiting. Although I like Refsynder's bat. But he's a horrible 2nd baseman. He's probably better suited for third which he has been learning. Castros been tearing the cover off the ball too. Which is a good sign even if it is spring training.
