Sorry I missed this earlier. It would be in the best interests of the Rockets if they dont make the playoffs because they owe Denver a 1st round pick for the horrible Ty Lawson pick up earlier this year. BUT ... it is lottery protected. Now I'm not necessarily saying the players would deliberitely lose but it would just work out better than getting an 8th round seed, losing a #1 pick and you get to face Golden State.
