LCD
Because of the massive amount of animosity that the Republican right and the Republican establishment feels towards the Donald, a lot of names are being put forward for a third-party candidate. It's not gonna be like Perot it's gonna be like John Quincy Adams in 1824. All the candidate has to do is to deny both Trump and Hillary from getting to 270 electoral votes. The election then gets decided by the House of Representatives which is Republican. Guess who'll win then, candidate won't have cankles or orange hair. Fun times. Guest boatboatboat
IF Hilary were to get 40% of popular Vote Trump 40% of popular vote And some other person got 20% and the house made that person pres, the public would revolt. I can't see it happeningAnything can happen. You're their target audience Boat. Both candidates kind of blow though HRC is actually experienced. Trump just builds really shitty, gaudy hotels. Look at how many votes Adams got in 1824. If they accepted JFK stealing the 1960 election with ballot fraud in Illinois and Bush stealing the election in 2000 they'll accept it now. People aren't any angrier than at any other time. They were as angry in 1980, 1992, 2000, 2008 as in 2016. The problem this year was the Republican candidates were so shitty and the only person Hillary had running against her really was a nutty socialist with zero chance of ever getting anything done so he got to say outlandish things which touched a nerve with naive young people. LCD
You can stop Hillary. Below is the list of the electoral map they way it looks now if it follows the last seven elections. All the conservative candidate has to do is pick off small states like NH, NV and WI or one big state and no one is getting to 270. This of course assumes Hillary isn't indicted and Trump doesn't start babbling on more about how he thinks of fucking his daughter.
Always Call Heads
Is that all? If the Rs had a candidate that could win those states, he'd have beaten Trump.

This is why we always get candidates that suck. A general election is very different.

Always Call Heads
One Republican candidate. Trump isn't a Republican or he's a soft faux Republican for low IQ voters.Well, some would argue that's the main vote. Kasich can barely beat Trump in Ohio. So you run Kasich to win Ohio, he loses half the people that would vote for him to Trump and Hillary gets all the votes she would get against either one of them. Landslide. LCD
I've been saying HRC is going to win as long as anyone here but these things never play out the way you think. Dukakis was up 25% or something in the early summer of 1988. Horton, rape question, dumb tank pic and a decision to not fight back and he got destroyed. You have two problematic candidates who are controversy machines and then a true conservative shows up. Could help Hillary. Could cause chaos. But when you've got a AAA roster, you can't beat a .500 team. You've got a party in collapse. It just can't work unless the stock market goes to hell. maron
Here is where the conservative party fails....it lines up with the Christian right....nothing wrong with Christainity... what galls people is that these people espouse that they live a better moral life but when they get on the podium, it is the same spin of lies that the heathen Democratic party tells.... First, they made enemies of blacks. That was a good thing. Then they made enemies of non-religious people, that was a good thing. Now they've made enemies of browns. That is not such a good thing now. In the process of making enemies of brown and blacks, they made enemies of the yellows. Now they've got a 50-50 country and they have pissed off every minority segment out there from atheists to Muslims and the election is over before it begins because they lose every segment of the population outside of white people.. Times have past them by.
