Bfo Posted May 29, 2016 Report Share Posted May 29, 2016 Let me inturupt the stroke fest with a related story and why I think we want to Give trust to posters we don't really know.....There is a Arizona poster.....Not King or Diabler....who I hadn't talked with for a full year both on and off the forums to the point I deleted his contact info...He sent me a text asking for a 2k credit line completely out of the blue, I knew it was him because I reconigized the area code and told him I'd try.....Called Vinny and said I know a guy he needs 2k I'll cover him on half that figure and Vinny said no on the 2k but gave him $1500 with me on the hook for half as long as the guy was up on Vinny.....We have been doing business for over a year now with no problems.....he asked me to cover a small amount for him one time and I did so without telling Vin and about 6 months later I asked for the same favor holding back some of his winnings to cover mine and said I would straighten it out the following week and I did.....But why in the world would I have put my neck out for a Poster I hadn't talked to in a full year? I think it has to wanting to feel like a wise guy who has the hook up's and can extend credit as if I had it to burn.....A Hero maybe? A gambler who can get shit done? Looking for a gambling friend?I know a lot of posters have strict rules on not loaning a Poster a penny and some like the ones in this thread will do it on the drop of a hat..So enough of giving each other hand jobs for being Solid....tell us Why you want to deal Finacianly with Posters?Agree with most of this. Have never borrowed money off anyone, but definitely lent a little too freely at times. Only been burned once, been lucky so far. Yisman and tryx3 are the exceptions to my rule of not doing business with those I have not met in person, know their real name and some idea of where they live.
