Mofome
The pastor of legendary Tennessee women's basketball coach Pat Summitt told Knoxville talk-radio host Hallerin Hilton Hill on Monday that Summitt's son, Tyler, no longer is allowing visitors to see her, and her death is "imminent." http://tennessee.247sports.com/Bolt/Pastor-says-Summitts-death-imminent-46004325?utm_source=247Sports%20Newsletter&utm_medium=Newsletter&utm_campaign=160627_162435_Tennessee%20Volunteers&utm_content=Link

5 Star Bomb
Mofo she hasn't passed away yet and maybe she told her so. She doesn't want people to see her in her current condition and remember her that way? Could be her wishes.

IAG
How does this disease affect longevity??. Average length of time from diagnosis to death is eight years or so. I think mom died six years after diagnosis, but she had probably had it undiagnosed for a couple of years. It seems to progress more quickly in the early onset cases where people are younger when diagnosed. If you mean from what do they die, the body basically he forgets how to operate. They forget how to breathe and swallow and generally die from complications such as pneumonia when they are no longer able to get out of bed etc.

Mofome
It's unfortunate that her son became such an embarrassment as his incredible mother put him in the position to have anything he wanted. He plays the innocent guy well.
