Its always doomsday before the Olympics and they mostly go off very well. the green water thing is bad but overall think its been ran well and everything looks beautiful. Economy falling apart, president being impeached, zika virus etc werent all news when Rio got selected. It really is a beautiful city and country in the right parts though And honestly i like seeing different places hosting this stuff. Dont want to keep seeing China, USA and big Euro nations hosting all the time, Good to see Brazil and next one is in South Korea (winter 2018). The diving pool is now closed because they said the water has to be still in order to turn blue again. They are 100% wrong. The chlorine needs to be circulated and the algae filtered out. That is swimming pool 101. The Olympic green pool saga has been through more twists and turns than the divers plunging into it.On Tuesday the diving pool was green.
