Cost me like 90 bucks and i think the part was only 5 or 10. Also have a new dell touch screen that had an operating system missing thing, brought that in and they sent it back to me with nothing but a black screen when i turn it on....fuckers. Try putting pressure on the cord to a few different directions and see if it starts charging when held a certain way. Sounds like exact thing that happened with my HP, some days it would charge and other days it wouldnt. Kept getting worse until the PORT was shot.
