Deemer
Why does Blockchain continue to tell me to check my email to approve a log-in attempt? Also, what are other intermediary wallets that are easy to use with Coinbase / Circle.
IAG
No clue, but did you get your lap top fixed? I used to have that same problem all the time.....went thru numerous adapters, and 6 or more laptops in 10 years. Pita. GL

ted sheckler
If you recently updated the "security" on your wallet it seems like every new device or every time you close the internet and bring it back up, it makes you "allow the login attempt" Delete that part of the security settings if you don't like it. ted sheckler
Just looked, you can't disable that part. Just create a new wallet each time you need to use Blockchain, assuming you don't keep coins in Blockchain and transfer straight out of there. If there is no problem when it is plugged in, may be the battery? My problem was that I always had it plugged in, and the plug-in was always on the far side of the laptop. It would pull across/press on the input prong thing til it bent......new adaptor would work for a short time sometimes...now I use IPad all the time, so no issue, but feel for ya, GL

plommer
Wtf is this compared to Blockchain ? blockchain is an online wallet, you know "WWW". Your bitcoin is at the mercy of blockchain and the internet. multibit is software you install and run on your pc - your bitcoin is stored on your pc. As long as you complete the backup process in multibit - which it requires you to do you can safeguard your bitcoin and access it even if your pc is destroyed. Jimmy Hoffa
I don't use a blockchain wallet. If I'm buying bitcoins and sending them all to a book, why bother. Same in reverse, if I withdraw bitcoins I want them sent to my bank. Why would someone need a blockchain wallet in my scenario?

Deemer
Using electrum; why do you need to request an amount of mBtc. My receive address has a "Requested Amount Tab" Can't I simply just use the address without entering an amount?
